Pros: When we arrived at the hotel, the check-in process was so simple and the staff was very friendly. Once in our room, the view was amazing and the room was clean and stocked with coffee and hot chocolate. We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel and loved it! The food and service was perfect. The next morning, breakfast was brought to our room and it was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Cons: No issues here other than the lack of channel options on the television. Seems like a silly complaint when we were enjoying our stay so much!!

Cons: If I went again, I would make sure to get a top level room, everything about the room was great, except someone above us walked around up there and sounded like an elephant before 6am, there was no sleeping in at all, and they did it every single morning.

Pros: The location! On a cliff looking across town to the red cliffs in St. George. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast delivered to room was very nice. Excellent restaurant- glad we made a reservation ahead of time.

Cons: The hotel was nice but not what expected. I read the reviews and saw the article saying it was one of the top 10 hotels in the world to stay at-which I didn't believe, but still expected something pretty great. Disappoint only because of expectation.

Pros: The view was exceptional,and the pool had the same view along with the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was the best and very reasonable.with an outside dinning area.Modern rood with a 50 inch TV,the staff was excellent ,couldn't ask for more.

Pros: Great location, with a great view of the city. Luxurious rooms are modern and clean. The free room service delivered and fresh made breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Cinnamon streusal, fresh maid parfait, and orange juice was delicious. The staff was very professional and polite. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in St. George.

Pros: Always a very helpful staff (we’ve stayed @ this property 26 nights in 2020) — this trip we had a problem w/water pressure in the shower + it was fixed in 1 day and it was better than we’ve had from most other hotels!

Cons: It's hard to give a complete review with covid. Didn't really interact with staff or use the facilities.

Cons: They kept running out of hot water for showering, 2 days I took luke warm or cold showers, and I complained each time about it. The hotel was packed for the AFA softball tournament but that doesn't excuse this!

Headed back that way next month...we will DEFINITELY plan our trip to overnight here. It is a 900 mile journey from us and we have lots of choices, I've tried many others. We will plan our night to overnight here!

Pros: I stayed in “Jane”, the attic room where the wives hid. I love how any unoccupied rooms were open and lit so I could explore the property. Each room is loaded with character and the inn is well cared for and filled with period pieces. The inn keeper was lovely and offered multiple rooms I could choose from.

Cons: Wished for the price that it included continental breakfast or something to snack on in room. If I had waited for the same price there was a similar hotel that included breakfast.

Pros: The hotel was easy to find and check in was a breeze. I appreciated that the woman at the desk checked me in while the couple in front of me tried to figure out their travel plans and needs. The room was clearly recently renovated and very comfortable. My travel companion is usually the first up and the bed was so comfortable she had to be coaxed out of bed!

Cons: The only thing missing was a hook or two for toiletry bags or towels somewhere in the vicinity of the bathroom/vanity area.

Cons: The room smelled of cleaning products, I think the cleaning staff went a little overboard with pine sol. I guess it's good that they cleaned the rooms. We had a baby crawling on the floor and she picked up a lot of gross black dirt from the floor, so they weren't doing a great job of cleaning the carpet. There was a fold-out bed in the couch, but a dresser was located in front of this couch so you couldn't actually pull it out. What's the point if you can't actually use it? IT also didn't have sheets or look like it had been cleaned (ever), so I got the impression that they didn't expect anyone to actually use the fold-out bed. It would have been nice to be able to use it if we could have. Also the TV was very small and oriented in a weird location relative to the bed.

Pros: Very comfortable room. Very quiet. Did not hear any noise in hallways. Breakfast was handled very nicely in spite of Covid. Real food that you could choose....not just a sack lunch. Heater/air conditioner had actual degree settings, and was fairly quiet.

Pros: The Staff and Amenities are great. The room was clean and beautiful. I would prefer if the curtains closed all the way, and blocked the building lights of the hotel. That made it challenging to sleep. The Breakfast is great. Select days they have made to order omelettes. The oatmeal is good with sugar. The Chorizo sausage is just okay. The yogurt and granola is yummy. They have apple juice, orange juice, and hot chocolate and hot water. Grab and go bags are a granola bar, and apple and an orange. The workers get your food for you, except the yogurt and milk. There are 2 types of cereal. Fruit loops and raisin bran. The hot tub is huge and very comfy. The pool is big, and very fun. I would stay here again, if the blinds would close all the way or the hotel street lights were dimmed, at night. The service was amazing though. No cleaning of rooms to Civid, so get tp from front desk, and towels from pool area. We took out the trash in our room. You can request they clean your room during the day time.

Cons: Honestly, this was the very worst hotel room we have ever stayed in. We are not a handicapped couple, but were put in a handicap room. The ceiling was way too low, the room was very old, and there was no room in the bathroom to put toiletries, etc. It appears there was more effort put into the exterior of the hotel, than to update the room. We would not stay at this hotel again.

It was our first time taking our puppy with us and he did great there, they had plenty of place to take him and bags available to use for cleaning up after him.

Pros: This is a good hotel for the price paid. The staff were very nice and took care of a problem that came up promptly. A banana, bottle of water and granola bar for breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

Cons: We stayed for three nights and were told housekeeping would come in after the second night but they didn't even though we left the "housekeeping request" thing in the door lock after the second night. Covid 19 policy? We were able to get clean towels and supplies at the front desk so it all worked out.

One lamp was not working. The door would stick open if you didn’t shove it closed. The grab and go breakfasts were lame. I know COVID has thrown everything off but it’s been a year. They should have figured something out better than a banana, Nutragrain Bar, and bottled water. No juice? No bagels? No muffins? Very disappointing.

Cons: There definitely needs to be some major updating/upkeep on the property. The walls are paper thin and we only got a few hours of sleep the first night (second night we used a very loud white noise app) we could hear the people to the side of us, talking until late in the night (not yelling) and it was like they were in our room, we could hear every word not just muffled talking. The doors also give zero insulation from the nose in the parking lot so I would suggest asking for a to floor room.

It was awesome they had indoor and outdoor pools too since it was chilly and rainy one day if our stay. The breakfast was amazing as well. Cons: The breakfast is a step above the usual motel breakfast, but not by much. Very limited options. The scrambled eggs tend to be way overcooked, the line for the waffle iron is really long, the juice is watered down, and the gravy for the biscuits is oddly sweet rather than savory. I know this looks like a lot of criticism for one thing, but when you travel with your family a decent breakfast is a real time and money saver. This one is only mediocre at best. Which means my kids wouldn't eat much of it, which also means that lunch and dinner were more expensive.

Cons: Our room was dingy and we had a sink that wouldn't drain, and shower that wouldn't turn on more than halfway. The staff messed up and somehow thought we were supposed to only be staying for 1 night instead of 2 - so housekeeping kept bugging us to get out about 5 times before we realized, and then we had to go down and clear up the issue. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Disappointed in our stay.

Cons: When we walked into the hallway leading to our room, we saw cigarette butts right inside the door. The hallway itself was pretty nasty, and we passed pills and other garbage along the way. It was gross, but it was also late at night, and I figured it was just the messes that had been left by guests since the last cleaning. However, when we came back the next night, a lot of the same messes were still there. The door handle in our room wasn't attached at all, and we had to reattach it to leave our room (They did fix this quickly, however, when we brought it to their attention.) There were stains and residue of some kind on the curtains--the kind that made me afraid to touch them. I also took a cold shower both mornings we were there. My husband showered about a half hour after me, and after a while, he did get some hot water, but it was constantly shifting between hot and cold.

The people who staying in the room next to us kept trying to get in our room through the access door between the 2 rooms. I kept waiting for them to just walk in our room. The most difficult for me was the rude lady. After traveling all day in the heat and some complications on the trip i just wanted to go to sleep. To check in and have her be such a jerk was hard for me to hold my temper. The girl in the morning was also a joke. No personality and seemed disgusted with anyone who was there. Didn't like her job very well. The lady when we checked in who finally helped us was fine. She was an islander and did her best.

Pros: We booked a room at the Red Lion hotel a couple nights before our stay. We had never heard of it before. The red neon lights were different, but all we really cared about was how clean and comfortable our room was. Our room was clean, everything worked well, and though the hotel was packed, it was nice and quiet in our room. Great stay! Wouldn't mind coming here again!

Cons: Our room which had no outside window or natural daylight was stuffy and damp the whole time. The bathroom was awful. Small, outdated, in disrepair and not super clean. Although the pool was fairly nice, the pool deck was dirty, messy with not enough lounge chairs. Our group had to sun bathe on the ground which wasn't very clean.

Cons: Housekeeping left the door to our room wide open. We found it totally open when we came back in the evening. This was most likely because the door was damaged/broken and didn't close properly. Luckily, none of our belongings were stolen, but that was a miracle. The breakfast food was not great and the place felt dirty and run down. It also smelled terrible. We will not stay there again.

Cons: Hotel recently changed ownership. Probably was a modern design in its days, but now looks 70s-dated. The odd indoor/outdoor pool extends into the lobby inside, which makes the reception and some dining areas smell like chlorine. That is also where the spa is, but the spa was broken anyway and we didn't use it. This seems to be more of a motel than hotel, for which it is not too bad. Our impression was skewed a bit because we were given a room on check-in that was not made up yet. It looked as if a 80s rock band housed in it with everything extremely filthy and I even felt uncomfortable touching the phone to call the receptionist. Felt sorry for the maids. That said, once they gave us another room that was cleaned already it was decent enough.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that my hotel room opened up to the outside. I tried to verify that before making the reservation, and went with the pictures on the internet. I found the room was cramped and the toilet was clogged, the sink uncleaned, the mirror had toothpaste on it. It was late when we checked in or I would have gone elsewhere. The rooms next door were loud all night and the outside of the room was also very dirty.

Cons: Dirty sock in the room, thorns in the carpet, heat was set to 74, drew a line in the dust, thin towels, noisy neighbors, and the woman who we spoke to in the manager's absence. I'd fire her. She tried to blame everything wrong in the room on us.

Pros: The price was reasonable.

Cons: I stayed multiple nights and my room was not cleaned nor the bed made during my stay.

Pros: We felt the hotel was a good value for the star rating it had been given. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't take time for the pool but it did look inviting.

Cons: The outside balconies are a bit noisy when children run or when rollaways are drug past your room.

Pros: The hot tub drew us in. We loved the hotel's location. It was within walking distance to several eateries, the freeway, and the bike path.

Cons: The AC in the room did not work very well.. made lots of noises, didn't blow very hard or cold, and couldn't keep up with the outside temp.

Cons: The room was SO hot for St. George's 100+ degree weather, and had a hard time cooling down. We left a note for cleaning to not turn off the air, but they did. The toilet shifted every time you sat on it, and the carpet smelled old and mildew-y.

Cons: They were not flexibel about the room, I wanted an upstairs room and got downstairs, it smelled a little mildewed and had awkward furniture crammed into it. Too expensive for what it was

Pros: The only real positive to this hotel was the location, however there are many choices very near this hotel that one could stay at. Also, the ladies in charge of breakfast were prompt and pleasant each morning. They kept the food warm and the area clean

Cons: OFFICE was HORRIBLE. We were told several different prices during the stay. They would not give us copies of what we signed. We were locked out of our room and our dogs were locked in. Non-stop construction and workers indulged in breakfast. Very bad.

Pros: Older motel that has been remodeled. My room was mostly new and similar to a nicer hotel chain. It was clean and gave a good first impression.

Cons: Tv remote didn't work properly, shower floor was creaking every time you stepped like it wasn't firmly fastened.

Cons: The staff would not honor the request for two beds in the room and told us that it would be an additional $15.00 per room for the upgrade. This did not work well for us on this trip as we had other people not married who needed to share a bed.

Cons: We were there on an emergency basis. My Father was hours to days from passing away so we did not now how long we would be there so we booked for 3 nights but only needed 2. When we were checking out I asked to be refunded they rudely refused.

Cons: Yes! The staff (women at front desk) was very abrupt and wanted to charge extra for two queen room when she had already stated she had plenty available... We ended up with a 'King room' only to find out it was a full/queen mattress w/king head board!

Pros: We were on our way to Colorado from Colorado. I loved the value of this place considering older places were priced higher than this hotel. You can tell the rooms have all been updated to modern furnishings. Water pressure and temp was good, room was clean, and we slept great. We stay at plenty of hotels and WiFi tends to be an issue, not at this place though, it was fast!

Pros: They don’t do breakfast but that could be due to covid. The lobby smells like smoke and has a mold and misty smell as well. The second floor allows pet owners and the first floor doesn’t but you can tell pets have been here. I’m a pet lover but I don’t like it to smell like pets. They have remodel rooms but they are already looking bad. Our room was not very clean either. Fingerprints on walls, human hair on floors, I don’t think the baseboard have been touched in a couple years with the amount of dust on them.

Cons: First first thing I noticed when walking in is a really loud noise. Come to find out it’s the mini fridge. It is extremely loud. There was hair all over the walls, baseboards and floor in the bathroom. And floor. The tub has no caulk on the floor between it and the tile so it appears unsettled. The plug for the tub has been removed and is sitting on the shelf in the shower which also has a piece of garbage still on it from whoever left it. There also appears to be pink mold in the corner of the tub by the wall. The baseboards in the entire room are disgusting and very dirty. The walls over by the table have food splattered on them and dings in the wall from the chairs. There is no lamp anywhere in this room. So if I want to see at night, I have to turn on the overhead lights in the whole room. This is a room with two queen beds. A smell table in the corner but only one chair. Shouldn’t there be two chairs considering there are two beds? There are crumbs on the floor from food I didn’t eat here.

Pros: The price was what took us to this hotel... it was affordable, and along our path of travel. We got in very late, and left pretty early, so we really just needed a place to lay our heads before hitting the road again.

Cons: You can tell it's an older hotel, but not un-cared for. If you aren't down to breakfast as soon as they open, there's really nothing left -- we ended up hitting McD's for a quick travel breakfast, after there really wasn't anything for our kids to eat.

Pros: UPON CHECK IN THEY SAID NO ANIMALS AND NO SMOKING. THERE WAS DOGS IN ROOMS. THE BACK DOOR FACING EAST. ALWAYS HAD PEOPLE OUT THERE SEATING SMOKING AND COOKING ON THERE BBQ. JUST RIGHT OUT SIDE THE DOOR. AT NIGHT THIS WAS REALLY UNEASE TO WALK THREW TO GET TO THE DOOR. SMOKING, DRINKING BEER AND THE COOKING. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THEM MOVE AWAY FROM THE DOOR TO DO THIS.
