Pros:
Beautifully restored building with both a traditional Moroccan and modern feel- comfortable and relaxing with open air terrace . The food was fantastic - really fresh and healthy ... a great breakfast to set you up for the day . The owners were really very helpful, especially as we had to leave early due to COVID19 . They were able to give advice and help with arrangements . Would definitely want to go back

Pros:
Warm welcome - staff were excellent. Owner followed up on guest comfort, satisfaction etc. at every meal. Given tour of all vacant rooms - all individually decorated and characterful. Breakfast was excellent. Roof patio would be great in warmer weather.
Cons:
Stayed in Zero Waste Suite - concept brilliant but execution just several steps too far. Overpowering! Very difficult to communicate with owners - no reply to many phonecalls, texts, msgs on day of arrival. Taxi transfer messy with argument at train station between drivers. Enjoyed set meal at dinner but menu on table was not we ate - previous day maybe?

Pros:
Exceptional staff, led by Jan - a ball of energy. The food was exceptional and we felt very much at home and welcome.
Cons:
Very little not to like - would struggle to find anything to criticise.
Mediocre
3.8
Pros:
There is not much that I like about this place. Really think it is overrated.
Cons:
1. Accessibility. There is no way to park close to the riad. First day it took us 1 hour extra to get there. The owner never told us in advance, there is no way to get there by car but only on foot. In a good weather day, it might be not a big deal, just pass through some dirty streets, but in a rainy day, it is very very very dirty to your shoes and suit case rolling on the floor. But watch out when you walk there in the night. Did not feel very safe. 2. Noisy. You can hear what is from the street, talks and motorbike even in the night, 24/7. As well as what is happening inside the riad. 3. Communication. Besides the owner who is not there mostly, it is very hard to communicate with the staff there.

Pros:
Our stay was just wonderful. Jan, the owner, was so welcoming and helpful. The riad has a gorgeous terrace with a garden. The breakfast and dinner were very good, some of the best for us in Morocco.
Cons:
It's a bit too loud in the Chefchaouen suite because of the busy street outside the window.
