Pros: Large rooms, good breakfast

Pros: Great location and a good pool. Lovely staff. The rooms at the back and on the higher floors have commanding views to the river.

Cons: The carpets and common areas look tired. Breakfast — coffee was in an urn and was cool towards the end of service.

Pros: Good rooms, clean and comfortable. Central location. Nice pool and workout area. Good breakfast.

Pros: Lovely and small pool area, good food in the restaurant.

Cons: A rather boring and uninspired breakfest. The guys in the bar/restaurant does not seems to like their jobb. I have been their many times over the years but still haven´t seen a smile or heard a friendly line. Okey they do their jobb but absolutly nothing more.

Cons: Old carpet and not fixed on all hotel. No furniture on room just a little table and one chair. Bedding and towels old and yellow.

Pros: Comfortable, clean, and the staff were amazing. Luis was so so helpful when we checked-in - told us what we should see in Posadas, how to use public transport to get into the city and into Paraguay, and answered all of the other questions we had...he even offered for us to take some breakfast on the road with us when we left early before it was usually served! His colleague was also wonderful when we had a slight issue with the heating in our room - sorted within 5 minutes! 20 minutes walk from main bus terminal, and 2 minutes walk from bus stop into the city centre!

Cons: Absolutely no complaints! If being really picky, the rooms were quite plain and could have had more character, but that's being really really fussy!

Pros: Place was convenient for an overnight stay. Very nice staff. Parking in a closed and secure garage.

Cons: Location was not great, industrial area, and no food deliveries allowed. Breakfast was croissants, instant coffee, and powdered milk. Sheets had stains and holes on them. Sheets also had long hairs on them. Towels looked old and yellowish tint. And the hot water only last for 3 minutes before it turned ice cold. Didn’t call the reception about hot water because we were in a rush to leave. Also way too pricey for what you get.

Pros: If you are English speaking this hotel is great. Monica will do everything to make your stay enjoyable and find any activity you want. The rooms are basic but the price is excellent.

Cons: Others may not like the old style rooms and a/c etc but the hotel is near the city square.

Pros: This is a very well run locally owned family hotel and you cant find better service. The owners and workers are friendly and helpful. My room was basic yet totally comfortable and the shower might get the floor wet but thats because it has amazingly good pressure and can be as hot as you can handle lol. Im a motorcycle traveler so secure parking is key which is also an added benefit here. You will be treated like family and thats what makes for a great stay. Make sure to say hello for me 🙂

Pros: The personal welcome at this family-run place was outstanding. Excellent eating places just round the corner.

Cons: The bathroom was a battle, because of its size. Pushing the tide of water from the shower towards the drain was hard work!

Pros: Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The place had a good feel about it, not least because the owner was so lovely and helpful. The night I arrived she took me around in her car to give me a quick overview of the area. I really appreciated it. The room was very comfortable, had wifi access and airconditioning. This hotel is very close to the main square where you can catch a bus to the main station that is about 20mins away.

Pros: Monica was extremely friendly and even showed us how to make mate tea! She also arranged taxis for us and provided helpful information. The price was very low so reflects the very basic facilities.

Cons: The rooms are above a garage with no natural daylight so very dark and claustrophobic. The shower puts water across the whole bathroom so a mop is provided to clean it yourself! Breakfast is just sweet pastries and drinks - no toast or cereal or anything savoury.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is simple but good.

Cons: It is close to the airport which was very good for us. If you want to go to the riverwalk it might be a little far to walk.

Cons: Small room for 4. Just some hangers and a shelf. No wardrobe.

Pros: Only spent one night here, en route from the airport to San Ignacio. It felt like a 3 star North American motel. Clean, good sized, comfortable room. Friendly staff, good WiFi, decent breakfast.

Cons: The short walk to the bus station next morning with our wheelies was a bit difficult (no decent sidewalks). There are no restaurants within easy walking distance, but there is a massive shopping mall containing a food court and a large supermarket just before the bus station.

Pros: The pool looked nice, but we arrived late and left early so couldn’t use it. Was overall clean and comfortable & staff brought us to our room ensuring everything worked. Was nice for a quick stay near the bus terminal.

Cons: Price was different than website - about 9$ more expensive. I thought this was the VAT, but our itemize receipt confirms the vat was not charged, Room was just pricier. Oh well.

Pros: The hotel is pretty great and of amazing value. However what makes this place stand out is the staff. They went well out of their way to help me and my wife book forward bus tickets, arrange a private car to take us to the Jesuit missions in Paraguay and back and ensured our stay there was nothing but memorable. Thank you!!!

Pros: The location was in the centre of town, quite busy overall. The staff were very helpful and approachable. The rooms were clean as was the bathroom. The included breakfast was good.

Cons: We arrived at night and were surprised by how busy the centre of town was, there was no parking at the hotel. We had to park in a carpark opposite, thus had to carry a lot of luggage to the hotel.

Pros: Location is great, right in front of the main square of the city, with a restaurant right in the corner open late.

Pros: Location is great, beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly. Shops nearby , restaurants and whitin walking distance from the river were nice restaurants and bars can be found.

Cons: The wi-fi wasn't working in the floor I was staying in, we had to go to reception to make use of the internet. That was a bit disappointing!

Pros: Great staff, especially the lovely Letitia who was very helpful. Good breakfast with great coffee. Very good location. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Cons: The WiFi didn’t work well in the room, only in the reception. The sun loungers by the pool are very old. The one I was using collapsed while I was lying on it and could have caused an injury!

Pros: Close to shopping and dining. The hotel was close to the plaza. Reasonably priced. Breakfast was average.

Cons: The air conditioner leaked water as it ran. This is an older property and the floor design in our room was a bit of a hodge podge. Indoor outdoor carpeting was dated. Very little English spoken in the hotel or the town.

Pros: Good location. Quiet room. Friendly staff but you need to speak Spanish. English is rarely spoken in the area even at the tourist office. Good breakfast. It was good to come into an air conditioned hotel. It was hot and humid outside.

Pros: If you are passing through Posadas this hotel has all the basic necessities for a one night stay. Located in the heart of downtown, walking distance to the main square, shops and restaurants. It has a good breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons: Very humble, noise AC, pre historic TV set, cramped rooms, you get what you pay.
