Pros: I love the cleanliness of the place. It was cleaner that some “top of the line” hotels in Manzanillo (Barceló). Most of their staff was extremely friendly.

Cons: The only issue I had was that we didn’t get bath towels one day and when I called reception the lady gave me a bit of an attitude and said “you already called for towels, we are working on it and you have to sign a voucher.” Turns out that my kids had requested Pool towels too, so I guessed she thought I was being pushy. Other than this issue I loved the place. It is very peaceful.

Pros: Great value, good rooms, good location, very friendly staff

Cons: Mosquito bites at night (but just a few)

Cons: Reservation desk was not open. Was put in a smaller room than what I paid ,to later be moved to my room. Too much noise from chickens, ducks behind the hotel. A party went on all night next door.

Pros: We like the proximity of the Hotel to the downtown area. It is a very clean hotel and comfortable for the most part. The staff is always friendly.

Cons: Upon checking they asked that I pay in cash, I have never paid in cash and it was not brought up at the time of making the reservation. You would think that they would post that with booking.com or other entities. We are mindful about the covid-19 situation, yet if you are going to come up to someone and tell them to put their mask on well you should have your mask on first and keep it on. The AC unit stopped working completely on the last day, this has been a problem on other occasions. And lastly place at least 2 rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom.

Pros: This hotel was in a good location, was a charming building, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The price was reasonable and the wifi worked well. It even had English cable stations.

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Hotel Aldama was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The location is just a few blocks walking from the main square.

Cons: Some hotels feel restrictive and this is one. They have a list of 12 rules on the wall in a frame when you enter your bedroom. Then more rules in the bathroom and warning you will pay 15usd if you put makeup on a towel. Ok I get it! People can be disrespectful and hotels might need to cover themselves but there is a point where this strict attitude might make your quests feel uneasy. The only interaction we had with staff on check out was to tell them we had no hot water. The staff member completely ignored our letting them know and said they had to check the room before we could leave (I imagine to see if we’d broken any of the multitude of rules) I understand that if you are a cheap hotel you might attract guests who crowd people into the rooms and make a mess but just realise when you stay here you will feel a bit like you’ve broken the rules even if you haven’t :)

Pros: Is there such thing as a 6 star hotel, because this would be it. It's the most beautiful place in Mexico and the staff is exquisite. ALL food is made and grown on property which spans more than 2200 acres. You can do literally anything you want, wherever you want. I just left and am dying to already come back.

Cons: It is expensive but honestly, you get what you pay for and this place is MAGIC, so you'll pay for it.

Pros: Absolutely everything! The grounds are exceptional. The service was excellent. The ammenitiws perfect. 5 stars or more.

Pros: Peaceful setting, tranquil. Everything was first class. We will return with company next year.

Pros: It was very close to the main square and lots of shopping with buses at the door.

Cons: The only part I didn't like was that we booked the deluxe room with two double beds and a patio. When we got to the room assigned to us it had two double beds but no patio ant a very small window which looked out onto an inner wall. We went to the front desk to ask about the mix up and they showed us a room with a lovely patio but only one queen size bed. When we showed them the print out their response was its a very large bed though. We kept the room since it was 100 times better than the first but only lne bed.

Pros: Value of accommodation. Low price and comfortable and great location close to city center

Pros: We stayed here because of the property's proximity to the local craft brewery. The room was comfortable.

Cons: The price seems a little high for the fact that it is on the autopista outside of the city and farther away from most of the attractions in Colima. The rooms are clean but outdated - for example, the shower appears to be high-tech with a panel of several different buttons, but the whole panel is broken and has never been replaced. I also did not like that you have to have your key card inserted in a panel near the door in order to have any electricity in the room.

Cons: At check-in they couldn’t find my reservation. I showed them my booking.com confirmation and they still couldn’t find it. So they put us into a tiny closet room without A/C (room #31). And then wanted to charge more than what my confirmation showed. They finally gave me the room price that I had confirmed through booking.com, but they seemed unhappy with me about it. They refused to give us the free breakfast that everyone else seemed to get. Not a good experience.

Cons: we had a room adjacent to a courtyard which was great in theory. but people congregated outside our window and talked and socialized so we could not sleep. the sound travelled too well and we had to close our window to try and create some quiet, to no avail.

Cons: They did not tell us until we were leaving that they included a breakfast with your stay! Language was barrier. Bathroom no shampoo, faceclothes . Tv didn't work!

Cons: Even though there were signs saying No Smoking, guests were smoking in the atrium just outside our room. In one area with tables, right under the sign that said No Smoking, were ashtrays for smokers to use.

Pros: Charming old section. Very comfortable bed. Bottled water in room each day and good wifi.

Cons: The soundproofing in the old section. Would have been nice to have fresh orange juice with breakfast as we had been so used to having in Mexico.

Cons: There where NO...….. safety bars in the " shower stall " usually a slippery spot. in the handicap unit on the ground floor OH Coffee at 46 pesos to much.

Cons: Television falta falta.Falta. Also there was no advance notification on a phoned in reservation to earn the gratis desyuno. No fresh water .

Pros: Food delicious. All the staff helpful and nice respectful people. The stay overall warm and comfortable. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Pros: The hotel is modern and well-maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was plenty of hot water and the beds were very comfortable. I wasn't interested in being close to the central plazas, so the hotel's location suited my needs - it was right off the highway and close to shopping centers. Although the fitness center is simple, there was a good treadmill for running. The pool area provides a quiet place to relax.

Cons: I was given a room on the highway side. The traffic was not noisy but there is a bar next to the hotel that plays loud music at night. If you get a room, make sure it is located on the pool side. No other problems at all.

Pros: The location was very close to the facilities and restaurants we wanted.

Cons: The layout and rooms were quite a distance from parking and the stairways to both levels were difficult without handrails. Not good for elderly and people with disability.

Pros: Excellent Retreat Hotel making you forget the city rush. It is a large hotel with plenty of space and it is in a big land that ensures you peace and calmness. It has a large pool very good for swimming and the staff is of the nicest I've met, really have to call out that service they provided to me not only inside the hotel but giving me the best tips for tours and attractions in the city.

Cons: The Internet really sucks! I had to do Home Office in some parts of the day and had to go to the hotel office to get good reception. The rooms are very good, but the furniture and everything is starting to age out, not so modern, maybe it's the hotel's style but it seems very rustic.

Pros: I didn't want take the chance, based on the hotel facilities.

Cons: Not having a standard shower faucet on the every room, from the 3 we have in 2 nights. The security was not performing his duties, I have to go at 3:30am to the front desk to report a wild party at the pool. The concept of the hotel looks great but the performance is mediocre.

Cons: Check in was tedious. The hotel was relatively empty but our room was very far from the lobby. The lampshades were shredded, there was a spider in the bathtub and there was no hot water. The "balcony view" was a brick wall. Just as an example of how badly maintained this hotel was I'll use the vending machine. Of the 20 avaible slots for snacks only four were filled ... one of the four filled slots had a muffin but with all the fungus on it, it looked more like a petri dish. This place needs a major overhaul...definitely not 4 star. More like 2.

Cons: The restaurant was short staffed and the food was less than average, I had to wait for about 15 minutes for the check, I was then told to go to the front dest of the hotel and pay for it there.

Cons: The television did not work the 3 days I stayed. I would call about this to the front desk and they said it would get fixed but nothing ever happened. I was greeted by a dead roach in the bathroom and a big spider above my bed. There is spider web everywhere on the corners and roof of the room. Rooms have only 2 plug ins and far from the bed. Luckily the Wi-Fi is ok so i was able to watch movies on my phone on my free time but it sucks that the plug ins are on the other side of the room and cant charge my phone while laying down.

Cons: 1. No hot water in the evening (we had to call for that) 2. Only one outlet and it didn't work. We had to disconnect the TV to use an outlet 3. Toilet didn't flush well 4. The card keys kept deactivating..they tried to blame us for having it near the cell (not our case) even the maintenance personnel brought us keys and by the time he got to our room, which we were waiting in the hall for, the card deactivated again. 5. For the price we could have stayed at a hotel that included breakfast. 6. Hotel looks run down.
