Guests say
Guests generally appreciated the hotel's prime location, being centrally situated in Bruges, which made it convenient to explore the city. Many found the rooms spacious and comfortable, although some mentioned the dated interiors. However, several reviews pointed out significant issues with customer service, including unhelpful staff and a lack of response to complaints. Cleanliness also received criticism, particularly regarding some older rooms and specific amenities like the internet and bathroom facilities. Overall, while the location was a highlight, many felt that the hotel did not provide good value for the price paid.

Pros (+) Great location, directly off the main square, clean and comfortable.
Cons (-) Basic hotel, if a little bland. Nothing outstanding. Nothing to complain about. Did not use any of the facilities.

Pros (+) Right in the centre of Brugge close to all the sights.
Cons (-) Parking was a bit complex

Pros (+) The location is superb and the parking is a big plus. Two of the 3 reception staff I dealt with were very nice and helpful
Cons (-) Charging €25 euro a day for parking on top of the €169 a night for a very basic and dated twin room with an outlook (and the incessant noise) of the air conditioning units is a bit rich. Compared to the dozens of other hotels we've been to across all price ranges the breakfast at Martins Hotel is very basic

Pros (+) Location was good and staff were great
Cons (-) Rooms were a bit outdated but comfortable

Anonymous, Sept 2016
Pros (+) You couldn't ask for a better, more convenient location
Cons (-) Parking is ridiculously expensive; the layout of the 700-wing of the hotel is ludicrously confusing; the room is small for the price you pay, and the bathroom is tiny.

Cons (-) Rooms a bit outdated and cheaper. Could've used more amenities.
