Nice breakfast

We were so disappointed as we arrived to find that we had one room in the main hotel area which wasn’t too bad. Just noisy as it was at the bottom of the main stairs so I could hear people departing and arriving very early morning. The main problem was that my friends were in the annex which is 5 minutes walk down a steep slope in a separate building to the hotel. Their room was very basic with thin mattresses, a basic bathroom, damaged looking toaster. We had paid £600 per room for the week and the annex room would have been under €400 a week if I had booked direct and not through booking. com. We asked to swap rooms and upgrade to a suite as my friend has mobility issues and was unable to do the walk up to have breakfast, but there were no other rooms available. They ended up checking out and finding another hotel so lost their money on this one. The pool looked nice but people put there towels on the sunbeds early in the morning so there were very few beds left.

Not much the breakfast was adequate.

I booked an annex room, I thought would be at the back of the property. It was down 2 roads to another place called Kalimera Village. Upon being taken to the room, the smell of damp hit you when the door was opened. The apartment was nothing like the photos online. We had to go up a very dangerous staircase, held up by wood wedges, no hand rails to a bedroom that was so outdated and smelled of damp. We asked the receptionist on leaving why we had the room, he said you booked the annex. I said you might need to change the photos as they are nothing like we stayed in. To top it all we found a half eaten biscuit in one of the cupboards. Thank goodness we were only there for 1 night. The steps and walk from reception is no good at all for people with walking difficulties. Not value for money at all.
