Hotels near Quahog airport

Pros: The breakfast was awful. I got a packaged muffin. This was not mentioned when I booked the room. I was expecting a breakfast buffet.

Cons: No Kleenex in the room!! Also, no TV list.

Cons: Due to the pandemic they’re not serving breakfast, instead you can choose quick bite items and a drink.

Pros: Upon arrival it was very bright and welcoming and plenty of parking, easy to navigate. Beds were super comfy. Rooms were spacious. Shower was phenomenal.Appreciated the mini fridge. Christy was awesome.

Cons: Unfortunately because of COVID things... could’ve been better. Really hate to run a list but I would’ve liked to know these particular things. Our room wasn’t the cleanest, there were greasy handprints/smears on surfaces and doors but we wiped everything down anyway. Said breakfast was included but wasn’t specific that it was just cereal or oatmeal. Nothing too appetizing. We specifically booked for the use of the pool for my child’s bday but was notified (only after the time frame that it was free to cancel) that the pool was undergoing maintenance.

Pros: What I liked most about this hotel was the set up of it and the location. It’s in a quiet area with not a lot going on around but also very out in the open. The room cleanliness was great! The hotel room was amazing; especially the bathroom!

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was that the room I paid for was a suite but this looked like a regular room. Other than it having a couch in the room there was nothing different about this room compared to a standard king bed room.

Cons: I signed up for their reward program in order to be eligible for their late checkout at 2:00PM. At 11 AM Housekeeping opened my room door twice and continuously knocked on the door. Then I received a call saying they were short on staff so i had to leave.

I also had an allergic reaction to something in the room, likely the detergent that the sheets are washed in. But that wasn't really in anyone's control. Overall we had a good stay!

Pros: We needed emergency accommodations near the airport to ensure that we made our connections for our travel in the midst of a major snowstorm. Booking was easy. Location was perfect. Shower was powerful. Beds were soft. Shuttle service was convenient.

Pros: We came in the evening to a very welcoming staff and clean room. Their precautions make absolute sense and they are accommodating (we needed utensils and they had prepackaged ones at the front desk). Breakfast was not their normal one but they made an effort to provide coffee, yogurt, bananas, and prepackaged orange juice. For the price, and considering the pandemic, I was pleased with me stay and felt safe. Everything was no contact and taken care of by the staff. The bed was very comfortable, pillows too. Netflix on tv was a nice plus.

Cons: The HVAC system was not working properly and the humidity inside the room was unbelievable, and no adjustment to the temperature took care of the issue. Everything in the room was damp; sheets, floor, my clothes, everything. Wretched place.

Cons: It was a very basic hotel with very basic rooms. The walls are thin and if someone next door is having a loud conversation, expect to hear the entire thing. Overall, do not expect any more or any less.

I say this because I was asked if I wanted to cancel a weekend booking because my strip on my cad was a little damaged. Cons: It took a long time for the wifi to connect for some reason, and also, the TV kept going in and out with connecting to the channels. It also was very hot upstairs and much cooler downstairs (I know that heat rises). The window had to remain open, to cool down the upstairs. If the heat was turned down, the downstairs would get even cooler. House keeping never came and replaced our used towels either after the first night.

Pros: The 2 queen suite was very accommodating with all the necessities! The location, also a hit! But the star here for me has to be the pride and professionalism of Dagma. She certainly is in the right industry. Polished customer service skills, positive demeanor & likability all in one. How about that?! That’s what keeps me coming back. Thanks again for the great stay in Warwick, Rhode Island!

Cons: Just a suggestion: get rid of carpeting altogether! (stays damp after cleaning) Very comfortable 2 queen suite. If there were an option NOT to be next to a family suite; that would have been perfect!

Pros: The entire place was very clean and smelled clean. The staff was friendly. The decor at the hotel was very interesting and different from any other hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The back of the hotel was pretty facilities get the river and at night the lights added a nice affect. The hotel was centrally located in RI and made it easy to get places.

Cons: I was disappointed with the restaurant. There was not a lot of diversity on the menu and the prices were expensive. Also there was a wedding there on evening and it closed off the restaurant/ bar inside and outside to the guests staying at the hotel.

Cons: The bathroom wall is translucent and doesn't go completely up to the ceiling. If one goes to the batroom at night the light shining through and over the wall disturbs the partner. Also, the wall having a space at the top allows bathroom sounds and aromas to enter the rest of the room. If one prefers privacy, this is not the place.

Cons: Spending the night in Warwick at NYLO. Got dessert at the hotel restaurant..a "sweet and salty" It's French fries covered in caramel with ice cream, fudge and chocolate covered bacon. The bacon was a little undercooked and fatty which wasn't appetizing when covered in chocolate. Not for the unadventurous for sure, the menu was pretty good with some thoughtful touches, the staff very accommodating. The atmosphere a little too dimly lit for my taste, and the drinks a bit overpriced, but worth it for the experience. The decor is modern/industrial but falls a little short in some of the cheaper fixtures that just don't go, i.e. faux coral chandeliers and bar stools that look like leftovers from an American Legion. They could have done better in that regard. I'm thinking I won't waste my money next time my husband and I plan a night away. The sheets and towels are rough, the bed so-so. The pillows are abnormally small (think slightly larger than an airline pillow). Paint was chipping in the shower and the bathroom itself reminded me more of a murder room out of SAW than a luxury hotel. The shower, while large, with a rainfall shower head with great pressure, went from arctic cold to scalding with very little wiggle room in between. Again, the modern fixtures and furniture aren't much better than ikea quality and the aesthetics are nice from a distance but not for what we paid to stay. The lobby was fun with retro books and suspended egg chairs. Also the hotel itself is unusually cold and I am always hot so that's saying a lot. Bummer.

We arrived close to 2am, and were greeted with a warm welcome and assisted with any needs we had, in a timely manner, by Julie who was doing everything herself - and beyond excellent job at that. The bar staff was friendly, made us feel at home.

Cons: Arriving in the middle of the night, Julie was alone at the front desk, as well as providing us with any needs we had, such as, bringing us more pillows. As a female, I do not think it is safe for a female to be at a facility on her own. Also, the following morning we were never greeted or welcomed by the front desk employees. They were talking with one another instead of acknowledging their staff.

Cons: Enormous Power Outage. Since it was an unforeseeable weather catastrophe, depleting power to the majority of city, the hotel can not be blamed for this. But...what they can be blamed for, having NO emergency lights, a violation of state law, in hallways that actually functioned when power went out. Enormous safety and fire hazard. Not to mention, NO A/C, NO Hot water, NO clean water. Nothing. Brown, dirty water came out of faucet. What's worse is that we were forced to check out, as the 99% of the hotel guests did, and they pretended like they were doing us a favor by allowing us to check out without a penalty, but still charging us for the first check-in date, despite 5+ hours of no electricity, no safety, no A/C, no clean-warm water. We asked if they wanted us to be a future, loyal customer to NYLO, they refused to say, and said they were still charging us for 1st nights stay despite half the day with no power, no reimbursement, no warm water, no clean water, using flashlights to move out our luggage and having to carry luggage down flights of stairs as no elevators had power, despite a physical disability. We would never suggest or even think of staying at another NYLO chain with the lack of any compassion toward customer's satisfaction. Spent the next 8 hours in search of a new hotel. What a terrific stay, NOT. Good luck with future guests.

Pros: Front desk staff when I checked in was personable and professional. We discovered we lived in the same town in Connecticut. He was helpful and efficient. The next day I was flying to Florida. It was early. The desk person had breakfast bags ready to go so, I was able to grab one and add items I liked for my trip to the airport. The items were perfect for me. Great choices. Just as an aside, I traveled by car back to Connecticut and stayed overnite in South Carolina. The "grab and go" bags at Hampton were superior. Great customer service! Thank you.

Cons: I had a king suite, the hallways were stained and doors all scuffed and dirty. The suite itself was falling apart. Cupboard door handles and fridge handles broken, chipped paint everywhere. Cigarette burns on toilet seat (non smoking room) broken toilet paper holder, yellow stained and drippy ceiling above tub. Missing grout and dirty looking tub and shower. No coffee. Breakfast was terrible. Front desk staff was an extremely rude, snippy, and judgmental young guy with blue ish hair and a terrible attitude. I was appalled at how much I spent on one night to stay in such a low class looking SUITE. Very disappointing!

Cons: Except for Thomas,engineer, the rest of the staff wasn't very helpful. The lobby and whole look of the hotel is very stark (not in an intentional modern way), from the tiled floor to the furnishings. I can't give more detail because of character limit.

Cons: It is an older property, that for the most part is well maintained. For a 3.5 star hotel there are no refrigerators in the room. My room needed to be vacuumed, the tub was stained and could have used a good scrub and it had an open soap bar in the tub.

The band, Steve Smith & the Nakeds were their usual horrible selves, not entertaining and nearly impossible to dance to.

The shower curtain in our room was ripped away from many of the grommets on the pole. There was an event that night and some of the guests were very loud and belligerent returning to their rooms.

Pros: I went to RI as a getaway trip for me and my wife. This was not a planed out trip we where going to "figure it out along the way". I asked the staff what there was to do in the area. They not only have me a detailed brake down of the local and touristy attractions one of the gentleman actually brought up maps to our room(whitch was beautiful btw) with locations and suggestions as to the order in whitch I should do the events taylored to my taste. Thanks to them our fly by the seat of our pants trip was full of exciting, romantic and relaxing activities. On one of our later nights we brought back desert to our room and I called the front desk to ask for plates and forks and was going to go pick them up. Instead they sent them up to our room and the person who delivered them wouldn't even accept a tip. This is a great hotel with great people who work there. I will suggest them to all.

We immediately made the front desk aware of the issue and the receptionist began going through her paperwork to see who’s vehicle it was. She “located” the information and called the person’s room. We went back to our car and waited. And waited. We called the front desk two more times and we’re told that she was looking into it as she wasn’t able to find paperwork with the license plate information provided. We finally went back inside after an hour of waiting and asked if she could locate the information for the rig parked next to us. She was able to locate that guest and he moved his vehicle promptly. We apologized to him ourselves since he was. Oddly likely woken up by our request. We/she never did find out who owned the vehicle. We had a six hour drive ahead of us and we were trying to get home at a decent hour.

Cons: We reached around 1:00 am after a long drive and were told by the staff at the front desk that due to audits no check-in will be allowed for 20 min. The person was rude and discourteous and did not ask us to even be seated.
