Went in with low expectations based on other reviews/the fact that this is a budget airline, but I was pleasantly surprised! Everything went smoothly, seats were comfortable, food was not bad for airplane food, and of course the price of the flight was fantastic. The only real negatives I can think of are that the plane is a bit on the older side (think 2012-ish era planes, not a huge deal), wifi is a bit expensive, and the movie catalog is mediocre. But that is to be expected on a budget airline (I was honestly surprised they had free movies). I would definitely fly again.
No organization when it came to checking in and boarding. If you have diet restrictions make sure to plan ahead.
Despite stating in my search that I wanted a checked bag and pretty sure I added one during my ticket purchase, when I wanted to check in online I realized that the price I payed did not include any checked bag and I will have to pay extra for it at the airport. I also didn't receive the option to choose vegetarian food during the check in so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the meal provided by the company. On the plus side, we had enough space inside the plane to get 2 seats for ourselves and the seats were comfortable. The crew members were really friendly and helpful.
Business class is very poor , old seats with a iPad as tv…others companies offering better quality

Cons: "At the time listed for boarding, there was still no information on the screen, which was anxiety-inducing. This meant that in instead of being able to leave our portion of the terminal (where there was no restaurants), we stayed there to make sure we didn't miss any information about changes."

The website would not allow advanced baggage check-in so we were forced to pay full price for an additional price of 100 euro (unbelievable) and then the credit card machines were not working so we were expected to go and find cash to pay."
The flight was delayed for almost 5 hours, but I understand that it was not up to the company, however how they could handle the situation better, they never apologized for that delay, moreover despite passengers being there for 7 hours only thing they did was to give a bowl of instant noodles, afterwards on the plane tiny snacks, people were there starting from lunch time and we’ve arrived to destination at almost midnight

Cons: "Missed connection from PEK to XIY due to delayed arrival and early departure. From XIY to PEK, booked and confirmed 11 departure, changed to 12:30 without notification or explaination. Rushed connections at PEK, pretty much ran from the minute left plan to another terminal, through custom, through all the health check points, security check. Just keep the fights on time and keep the original schedules, not arbitrarily change them."
Cons: "Even for business class there is no TV screen on each seat. Just one small TV screen on the ceiling for a few rows to share. It would be much better with TV screen on each seat. I was sitting in the first row business class and the air hostess skipped me and didn’t give me a slipper. She gave me a used slipper at the end only without a packet. This is unprofessional to treat a business class passenger"

Pros: "Boarding was a breeze, flight attendant onboard we attentive, choice of food orders at least two (in business class, can’t speak to first or main cabin passengers.) Flew from LA to Tokyo. Coming back from Hong Kong to LA. Fantastic flights, will use them again."
Pros: "Very frustrated experience. Air China, air Canada, budget air, all push responsibilities away. Budget air got my name wrong, too, which would have caused me to not be able to get on the original flight from China anyways."
Cons: "Still I have not been able to get someone to fix my problem for me although I was promised that I could postpone my return flight by one day because of the delay at Victoria airport. Ended up having to buy a return ticket by myself."
