The best thing about this hotel is the staff, especially Ruddi, who are extremly nice and hospital and ready to help with anything. They really go out of their way, as said, especially Ruddi, who is such a nice and warm and funny person, just meeting him makes the stay worthwhile ( ; The hotel has come of age a little and how nice your stay will be really depends on the room you get. Some are nice and like the pictures, others not. Breakfast is okay, apart from the juice machine...
My first room was very small, even though I booked a much bigger one. Some are in need of renovation. In my second one (I asked to move) the shower did not work and they were not able to fix it during my stay. All in all for the money it is not a bad choice and if you get one of the nice rooms even a good one.

Lovely friendly staff at reception and serving breakfast / Only 10 minute walk from the vaporetto and easy to find. Enjoyed exploring the Lido/ The receptionist recommended two great local restuarants which we really enjoyed.

Good hot shower, comfy bed, lovely balcony patio area. The receptionist Rudy and breakfast server Josie were friendly and welcoming. 10 min walk from the vaporetto stop. Easy to find. Rudy recommended 2 fantastic resturants used by locals and very reasonable price.
Carpets worn. Coffee machine too weak for me!

Room was initially cold but the AC was working well, bed was also relatively tidy, the room quite spacious.
The furniture in the room was, to put it mildly, quite dusty.. not sure whether they have seen a proper cleaning this year.
