The Danieli, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Venice features a spectacular view of the Palazzo Ducale and the Grand Canal. The hotel comprises 3 palaces dating from the 14th to the 19th centuries. The 3 interlaced palaces first became a hotel in 1822 when Giuseppe Dal Niel purchased the palazzo and renamed it for his nickname Danieli. In 1895 new owners completed extensive and expensive renovations, adding elevators, vapor radiators and electric power. The hotel has been renovated and updated many times over the years, playing host to various illustrious guests.
