Novotel Sharm El Sheikh

Nice and helpful staff The room was always clean and neat, thanks to the room service team. The hotel is clean and not too far from Naama Bay. There are several nice pools in the hotel and their private beach is also nice.

The place is overall good but could be improved... furniture is kinda simple and old; decoration in the rooms is also very simple. The hotel is rated 5-star on booking.com but I've been to 4-star hotels that look way fancier. Breakfast is kinda poor - both the variety and taste (the hot dishes especially)...The AC in my room was working, but it didn't get as cold as I hoped. I was traveling solo while the place was full of families - I'd say the hotel doesn't offer much to involve and entertain solo travelers.

Location near Na’ama Bay center (if you care for it).

- From the moment I checked in until I checked out it was nothing like a 5-star hotel experience. Old furniture, old hotel, amateur staff (but mostly nice), below average food, etc. - Bad breakfast. And get this: if you want fresh orange juice you have to pay extra. Talk about a 5-star hotel breakfast. - Rooms don’t have slippers, no food menu. When I wanted a cork opener, they brought me one but said I had to give it back because it’s the only one the hotel has. Oh, bar tenders don’t have beer openers. They use a fork or a spoon to open your beer. Again, that’s a 5-star hotel (supposedly). It’s 4 stars AT BEST in my opinion. Would never stay there again.
