the architecture of the building was stunning, the lifts were clever ( you punched in your level and the one that was going to it opened and only went to that floor no stopping on the way) and parking was a great asset

Situated in a quiet area with no traffic noise. Excellent view from the room
There were no hooks in the bathroom and robes or clothing had to be put on the floor. Small things like this make all the difference. The Bistro menu was very expensive so we went out to eat. Had the prices been more reasonable we would have eaten in.

The design of course, the size of the rooms, the parking on site, the staff ( especially at the front desk) very helpful and professional.
The only thing I missed was the possibility of making some tea or coffee in the room, it should be standard in hotels of that category and specially when the bar and room service was not available on Sundays.

Chose it for location so easy for driving into and out of the city. Pleasant walk in to Oviedo - took about 30 minutes once we worked out best route. Staff were friendly. Found excellent cafe nearby, 26 grandos for breakfast and la jamoneria was excellent for dinner.
Our safe didn’t work and not fixed for 2 days. Also when bath was emptied the shower flooded with foul smelling water.

“The hotel has amazing architecture. The breakfast was buffet style and quite adequate. We stayed in a suite and had amazing views of the city and mountains. Although we know there were others in the hotel it was quiet in our room. We walked each evening to the old town and it was about 20-25 minutes. One evening we hailed a taxi on the way home and it was around 6 euros. There was ample parking (had to be paid and was 14 euros per night) in the underground parking garage connected to the hotel. The gym facilities looked nice and had a good view.”
