Best Western Plus Robert Treat Hotel

Fairly convenient straightforward hotel nothing really to like particularly.

Breakfast was really the worst I’ve ever encountered. Coffee juice milk etc all cheap watery fluids; scrambled eggs like nothing else but definitely not like eggs...; “porridge “ with a consistency of semolina and a taste .. I really don’t know but horrible. The hotel has no real bar which I don’t expect at that price! So to meet with friends there is no option but to sit on bar stools at the edge of the restaurant, there are no available tables. Which “restaurant” is itself amusingly advertised as the best dining experience in Newark - which is not a strong competition, but it’s really not!

Housekeeping very pleasant always wishing a good day

Staff not customer friendly. Reception staff scruffy. Corporate uniforms would enhance professionalism and image. General area run down. Was reluctant to venture out during evening.

The room was clean and the staff were mostly pleasant, one of the drivers on the shuttle bus was rude.

This has to be the noisiest hotel ever. We could hear the aeroplanes, the elevators, the people in the adjoining rooms, the toilet flushes (so loud they were like the vacuum flush on an aeroplane), the people above us could be heard walking around, very loud guests in the corridor on one night resulted in us opening the door and telling them to be quiet.
