The owners are very kind, helpful and generous with advice. It feels very comfortable. The structure is very clean and well maintained, managed with skill and passion. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. I hope to return soon, of course I recommend it.

Breakfast was terrific more than enough to feed an army. Endless coffee Quiet once you closed the doors it was silent if was not that much noise anyway. Shower was hot and lots of pressure.

I would stay again.

The couple that runs the whole thing is super nice, everyone is treated super well and I would definitely recommend everyone to stay there, the hospitality is unlike most places, 10/10 for being amazing people

There was nothing I didn't like about the location besides it being a 15 minute walk from the beach but I skated everywhere so it was not a problem at all

A rich, tasteful and diversification breakfast, A enjoyed to take the coffee outside in the beautiful and chic garden. A very hospitality staff.

Keen bird watcher this property was excellent. Rooms were clean tidy bath room cleaned daily new towels hosts so helpful, amazing price, When I visited in late April, I was upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost as they were not very busy, Continental breakfast included, great coffee Really is a no brainier! Would recommend to anyone visiting the region, whether passing through as Spain just 15mins away, Great base to explore the local culture and countryside. I really enjoyed the my stay here and will be returning in late summer/autumn, For me the hotel was just away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist centre yet on the main routes to explore the area,

These are not dislikes, more opportunities for improvement 1/ When its busy the car park can be quite tight, but the host was away there to assist 2/ An extra plug in the room would have been useful as I had a lot of electrical equipment and batteries that needed charging 3/ WiFi was really useful

Nice friendly couple who run the business, a little terrace to sit out on which we enjoyed and 10 minutes walk to the beach. an enclosed safe compound for my motorcycle which gave us peace of mind.

A very clean, cosy guest house. Spotless rooms. Very good breakfast with cereal, fruit juice, toast, croissants, and rolls , ham and cheese /plus fruit. Only one English channel on tv, news only. A very quiet location one km from the town. Supermarkets not far. Have stayed four times. No noise whatsoever from other rooms/guests on all stays.

Bed a little firm for me, but personal preference.

Owners served an excellent breakfast earlier than advertised as we had an early flight. We were given an upgraded room as it was available. Exceptional value for money with excellent hosts. Would return and recommend to fellow guests.

Very nice and clean good breakfast.

The staff was very helpful and kind, the room was nice and clean and the minibar was equipped with affordable goods :) Also there's a nice piece of lawn in the front of the house, which you can use to relax. The train station is very close.

Wifi wasn't working in the room, but the staff said they will get it fixed in a matter of a few weeks. Additional info (not related to Vila Formasa): We were attacked by two stray dogs when we were walking a bit outside of the town. So please be cautious when leaving the town, especially when dark.

Probably you need to have car or a bike for your holiday. We did, so location was not an issue for us

Vila Formosa is situated close to the Monte Gordo railway station in Monte Fino. This makes it ideal for guests using the train to travel in the eastern Algarve. It is also good for watching flamingos which can be seen from the station platform or the salt marsh of Monte Fino. Storks visit the field across the road in the evening when there are sheep - perhaps to roost. Mullet and other fish can be seen in the clear water of the estuary on the other side of the tracks. The continental type breakfast includes a variety of fruit and yogurt.

Quiet nice place 800 m from beach with parking. Much better for pleasant stay than in the center of monte gordo if you are not afraid of walking 10 min to the beach. Fresh orange juice for breakfast.

Very clean, very friendly, lovely fresh orange juice. Even had a drying rack outside with pegs for towels and swimsuits.

The bed covers were synthetic which are not to my liking but one takes them off for the evening so not a problem.

Very friendly people, nice spacy room and everything works. Also very nice breakfast.
