The apartment is well furnished plenty of room and utilities. Beautiful sea view. Close to the beach and city centre amenities. The pool.

The sound isolation, at night you can hear the noise from other rooms, chairs, people talking.

The location was awesome, right on the beach.

The TV was too small and should have more movie channels like Holywood, or Fox movies or any other movie channels ( in English) because there were too many channels in German and in Spanish. The SPA was closed for maintenance.

Fabulous location. Rooms cleaned daily and kept spotlessly cleaned. Pool area v good

The Gym and indoor pool was closed for renovation which meant use of another hotel facilities

Swimming is great and very friendly staff. Room very good

Smashed a small glass by accident in the room and was charged for breakage.

The breakfast staff was unfriendly

Very comfortable hotel for a Christmas stay, great side view over the beach, woods and lighthouse. Didn't try the restaurant as there are plenty of places to eat nearby and to buy food to prepare at the hotel. Kitchen very well equipped. A kettle would be good for British guests! We hired bikes nearby for just 5 euros a day and cycled to Santo Antonio along the bike track and to the beach through the pine woods.

The games room has been closed which is a shame, as it is something good for children and teens to do when it gets dark at 5.30pm.

I personally don’t like very big hotels but this one is on the beach and cause it was my birthday they left a bottle of bubbles in the room, and honestly that deserves a recommendation, I like people who have eye for detail!

Off season it is full of elderly..

Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, big sea view balcony and good wifi! Staff very helpful and friendly. Great location to spectacular beach.

Could have done with an oven/grill in microwave and some smaller pans for the hob. No English language channels on TV but good radio channels.

Clean & in a great location right on beach, near sports stadium & trails. Gym was well equipped for athletes training. Free parking. Staff were helpful.

Indoor pool was very stuffy & disappointing. Sauna/spa out of order but open after we left so perhaps just bad timing.

The bed was fine and big ,and staff are great

No sea view, second time we stayed here and would have loved to have had a sea view

Ideally located directly in front of the vast beach. Spacious lobby and apartments in modern style. Wonderful views from the Terrace. Kitchen fully equipped. Breakfast buffet excellent (for an extra of only EUR 7,50); for dinner the better option is à la carte - whereas buffet (EUR 14,00) not really to be recommended. Staff generally very friendly.

Ice cold corridors and dressing room in the pool area (whereas the small and shallow indoor pool itself is sufficient warm). Bathrobes should be provided by the hotel. Pls note that bathing cap is mandatory! More light in the apartment and floors is needed. W-LAN in the apartment not working! More cultural entertainment would be wonderful - such as the always crowded weekly concert by charming local Fadista Carlos.

The pool area in particular was a little bit bland - more greenery/plants etc, could've made it a lot more attractive to spend time there. Monte Gordo itself was in the middle of upgrading it...

With a group of athletes who were training all day. Loved the reception area to meet up in the evenings. Gym was fab. Food lovely. Room clean. Perfect!

Great Location, and very helpfull and friendly staff. Buffet meals giving you a nice choice. Facilities in the apartments very good

The road noise when staying in an outside apartment

Right on the beach. Next to nature reserve with beautiful tracks for running and cycling

sauna is charged at €20 per session. Not reasonable. Great facilitites suggest it would benefit of animation leader for exercise, games room and evening entertainment

Everything. The hotel is just perfect.
