Great Place in Monte Gordo

The room has a very generous area. Everything was very clean. Despite the restrictions due to the covid-19 the breakfast area was very well organized. Breakfast is quite varied and pleasant. The staff is very friendly (especially at breakfast). All rooms have a generous balcony, great for warm evenings.

I didn't like to sleep separately from my husband, but the Hotel warned me in advance that it would not be possible. Despite having a view for the pool, I did not see the pool because it had a terrace to which no one had access (strange options from the 90's construction) :p

We particularly liked the service. Due to unfortunate circumstances we found ourselves under mandatory quarantine, unable to leave our rooms even for food or water for a few days. The hotel staff bent over backwards to help us out, fetch our meals from the local restaurants (their kitchen can only prepare breakfast), provide us with anything we needed, etc. They did it without any friction, always with a very friendly face, clearly wanting to help us deal with our situation. We loved the location and we're likely to return frequently, both to the village and to the hotel.

Excellent location! easy walk to shops, bars, restaurants and beach. sufficiently far away to avoid noise, lovely peaceful place. Excellent choice for breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly reccomend

An English speaking channel on TV would have been great. Tea making facilities in the room would have been welcome.

We did not eat breakfast or any meals in hotel,we had a couple of drinks at the bar. Restaurant area looked good after renovation.Bar area was peaceful and relaxing with a big television if you wanted to watch.

Hanging rails in wardrobes could be lower. Shower had to be lowered, Getting out of shower proved to be a little difficult as floors got very slippery. A hold on rail would help,especially for someone with limited eyesight.

Staff couldn't do enough for you. Apartment very clean & cleaned regularly when we where there.

The tv had no English channels except the BBC news their was a film channel but it was in Spanish maybe in the future this might change as sometimes a guest like to stay in.

It was centrally located just a short walk to anywhere our room was SC on the ground floor was spacious and quiet. The pool is out the front never any need to secure a bed you have the best of both good pool and great beach

The parking was full so we had to leave our car in another park. We had to pay for it, every four hours as that was the maximum you could get. Would be nice but f the hotel would have an agreement with the park for a day rate instead of have to leave the beach/swimming pool to get a new ticket for the car.

Breakfast was fine and as expected. The location was excellent for the beach and shops. Plenty of places to eat. Staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful.

I liked everything

The location was really central but quiet, which was great at night as there was very little noise. The hotel was within close proximity to lots of restaurants, and you were on the gorgeous and massive beach in less than ten minutes. The room was bigger than I expected, with really good storage, and the bed was really comfortable. There was also a fridge which was pleasantly unexpected. We were on the sixth floor and had a large balcony with a table and chairs. There was a good choice of food at breakfast, with fresh fruit, scrambled and fried eggs, mushrooms, beans etc. The pool also had the sun until it went down, so you could catch the last of the rays if you'd been out all day.

The gym could have had more equipment and it would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room.

The property was clean and located in a nice area of monte gordo.

For the price I was amazed at the facilities the B/fast and the staff. The location was also good as only 200 meters from the beach and even closer to the bars and restaurants.

I was not impressed by Monte Gordo itself as it has no character and little to see or do except beach, swimming pools and poor restaurants.

Great hotel, in a quiet area; good bed. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was good but boring - same things every day. It would have been more interesting to have less daily options with a different variety of foods ever day. Loved the fruits, and dairy free options. I am particularly grateful for the wheat free, gluten free breads - thank you so much.

Just the breakfast as mentioned above. Everything else was fine.

Extremely clean, staff polite, good breakfast and excellent location. A useful base to visit other resorts and a quick hop over to Spain. Very good value for money.

Indoor swimming pool, big rooms and bathrooms equipped with music. varied breakfast,location to a wonderful beach and found a lovely Indian restaurant in walking distance.

Possibly the view, but that's because we arrived late so all pool views were gone.

Amazing standard for a very low price in low season. You pay less than 40 euro s including a Great breakfast and four star accommodation.

The fitness facilities were not in good condition. The fact that the indoor pool can only be used with a cap which has to be purchased is really disappointing. The room we got was smaller than on the photos as an adjacent maintenance room took the space of half our living room, so we felt a bit squeezed. in.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean. Breakfast was good, with good variety. Staff were good as well.

I didn't like the fact that I had a 3 year old child and they put us in this tiny room on the roof. I was expecting a bigger room.

The beach at monte Gordor is undergoing major upgrade ...walkways and coffee bars all work in progress ...very disruptive ....very quiet town by night no nightlife fior young people ....great for ...

the coffee machines delivered very bitter coffee; adding milk just made it bitter-sweet - not good. In fact , on last day skipped coffee completely!
