For the money you pay for a room in this property it cannot be faulted,it’s a bit tired in place’s but that just adds to it’s traditional Portuguese charm,staff can’t be faulted,breakfast very good,evening meals a bit repetitive but for what i paid I had no complaints.very good location as well.

Great Location - Average Hotel.

The Casablanca Inn is perfectly located just a short walk from the Monte Gordo beach and centre. You can find all the restaurants and bars a short walk away. The room has everything you need and spacious enough.

The breakfast is good but be prepared as it can be a little chaotic and confusing. The staff work very hard but it seems as if it could be slightly more organised. Only minimal parking is available and it can be difficult to find non paid parking in the area. Good Luck!

My new fave in Monte...

Location is superb and my room was fab - overlooking the square. Very clean hotel and coping very well with Covid regulations. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Great for cyclists who often have awkward demands!

This hotel is a three star and offers unbelievably good value for money. We had two nights with dinner and breakfast included. Breakfast range was as good as many 4 star offerings and there we a choice of mains and starters each evening and the food quality was excellent. A wide range of good Portuguese wines was available at low prices. We really felt that we had robbed them when we got the bill and that´s not a feeling I get very often these days! Staff were friendly and helpful, the bar offers "Happy Time" drinks €7.50 for a large beer and a vodka diet coke! I have lived in the Algarve for 12 years and have never seen people stand up and start singing Fado in the bar when there was live music. This happened on Saturday evening and was fantastic.

The bar prices are far too high, they have a beautiful bar area which is mostly empty, if they reduced the prices considerably it would be a wonderful place to meet fellow travelers, instead the guests all walk down to the town to enjoy a drink at considerably cheaper prices, it is a great shame. They already have the costs of stocking the bar, cleaners etc. they may as well sell some of it.

It had a central location close to bars and restaurants. The balcony was in the sun

The breakfast was 2nd rate. On friday night a large group of youths made a lot of noise drinking and shouting till 4 in the morning. Hotel staff said it happened every weekend and they could do nothing about it.

Overall a satisfactory three night stay.However,in the room we stayed ( and adjoining rooms we later learned ) there was the most irritating noise during early mornings and early evenings.Reception staff immediately identified it as a noisy extractor fan in the main kitchen.So it is obvious they know of this problem which should , surely, be rectified. We stayed in room 220. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was adequate and the small pool was ideal.

Always made very welcome by the very pleasant staff. The Hotel is very clean and comfortable in a traditional vein and is also ideally situated close to the beach and other amenities of Monte Gordo. The breakfast Buffet was very good and offered a wide selection for English and Continental styles.

The very attractive bar could have been an ideal venue for enjoying an evening drink but for me the drink prices were too high

The Casablanca Inn has lovely staff who were on hand to help with anything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers were powerful and water was very warm.

Shower wasn’t fixed and was only a hose feature which could be put up to a fixed height. There was a flimsy shower curtain which was very annoying when trying to shower. TV was very very basic and if staying for a longer time or with children, this would have been really inadequate.
