Oh the Algarve

We got a flat in the 8th floor with a beach view, not a large balcony but sufficient to have meals, enjoy a night cap and just breath. All restaurants and bars are in walking distance.

The elevators are small for a very busy place. The accommodation cost... inline with all the other available options in the area but to which parking gets added. Parking is 20 euros a day in a park just in front of the hotel while off the street parking means you need to top up the meter until 10pm.

Cleaning was awful.

Apartments were dirty when we arrived, they claimed they were suppose to come to clean the rooms everyday which they did not, by 6pm they would come and ask if we needed anything, no cleaning apart from hoovering 2 times in 7 days and they did the bed once in all our stay, terrible with cleaning. Wifi is very poor.

The flat is good and couldn't be better located, although it can get quite noisy at night. But it's very annoying that WiFi never works properly and there only a few TV channels available.

Lovely large apartment. Very spacious and clean, Comfortable beds and pillows ensuring a very restful sleep. Housekeeping staff very pleasant. Cleaned every day and towels and bed linen every other day. Plenty of good quality towels. Always plenty of very hot water and good shower. Big balcony. very quiet, no surrounding noise.

Kitchen facilities not quite adequate enough for self catering. Smaller pans, some bowls to use in the microwave, an electric kettle and a toaster would make all the difference. especially as it is quite expensive to stay here and no breakfast provided. There is no bar or restaurant on site. The sushi bar on site is private and nothing to do with the hotel.No hairdryer! this is a nuisance when travelling with only hand luggage.

Needs updating. Paint, furniture, cosmetic update.

The front desk staff was excellent. When a friends purse was forgotten at a local business, the staff made sure that it was given to me to return to her. Huge, as it contained all her valuables. The housekeeping staff did the best they could in cleaning our bathroom each day. The apartment needs to be completely gutted and redone. It was a bit like staying in a cheap dormitory, a very cheap dormitory. No comfortable chair, furniture has not be upgraded in years. I would not go back there, unfortunately.

There is only WiFi in reception. There are around 10 seats always occupied. We had problems with where to have our bicycles. First we put them in the garage, then they said it wasn't safe. So we took them up to our balcony. Then it was not allowed to have them there because it was not safe????

We needed a one night stay in accomodation that would accept pets. This turned out to be an excellent choice.
