Hotel Okura Macau

Very clean and very comfortable!

My wife and I loved this hotel. Room was amazing, lots of space, well decorated, everything we needed and more. The bathroom was very big and grand, it had a huge bathtub we both easily fitted in with plenty of room left over. Clean, everything worked, staff very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to access the Grand Resort Deck - get in the lift, get off on 2nd floor, and you are there, practically on your doorstep. A few minutes walk to Taipa Village which is another feature we enjoyed. It was a special birthday for my wife, the hotel provided a personalised card and bottle of wine, which was very kind of them. I have stayed in more expensive hotels before but Okura is definitely one of favourite places, the style and decor is just right, so relaxing, they do not overdo anything like other 5-star hotels

Facilities are amazing and staff is friendly

Asked for non-smoking room. However in of the room we smelled definitely smoke, despite the sign non-smoking. When we mentioned this they placed a dehumidifier, which was good. But took a while before Air was clean and our kids had to fall asleep in a room with smoke smell. We did not want to change the room as we had an interconnected room with the whole family and it was already late. I just feel that either you should have non smoking rooms or smoking rooms but not temporary non smoking rooms. That is not the same.

The trip was for my son’s 5th Bday. The hotel staff contacted me a few days to confirm the greeting message and arriving time in advance. They gave us an upgrade and the room is quite clean. The breakfast was at the executive club.

Staff really nice. Facilities are excellent. Great swimming pool. Rooms are very clean. Concierge anr reception staff very efficience. Speak very well english.
