Small double room with no window is too claustrophobic. No proper ventilation.

My room was in the basement. I booked a single room but was given a small double which was the size of a double bed with a tiny strip of floor to get me from the door to the bed or bathroom. I would have preferred a smaller bed and some room to move. I felt claustrophobic and a little uncomfortable being underground. I planned to work in the room in the morning before leaving but was glad to leave the space earlier than planned.
