Very comfy bed. Reminded me of a 1930 palace. Bit dated but very clean. Beware if u have a bad heart or lungs. The climb is unbelievable

Breakfast was ok, varied enough, kind of greasy but tasty. Not 4 star but good enough to mention.
It's very run down. Walls are dirty, furniture is breaking apart, although it was roughly refurbished ( painted white/cream), parquet in the rooms is swollen and scratched heavily in some places, AC looks like it was never cleaned. Bathroom looks better than the rest but still rough and worn. TV looks like a 15 inch computer LCD. The hotel has a lot of charm and great potential, I think it was fantastic 40 years ago, but I don't think they did any repairs for at least 15 years. It looks like it has great potential but probably has owners that don't care at all about the standards.

The pool was excellent......the outside surroundings are beautiful! The beds are quit fine.. Pool bar and coctails are grate....
Stay in a hotel room was like returning 30 years ago .... Seems that hotel room had never ever been renovated. Hotel deserves max 2 stars... First time ever we had to pay for the room safe....

The place was very beautiful and very good position in the city. But in my opinion they should do a refurbishment in the building.
The reception at the hotel should be improved a little.

Great location in Lloret. The hotel has nice rooms with an amazing view of the water and the town below. The steps down to the beach take some stamina when returning, but it is a nice spot for getting away from the crowd. The pool provides a great way to cool off without going too far. Breakfast was pretty good with lots of basics, plus an amazing view of the sunrise and sea.
The hotel lobby and halls seem a bit dated and run down. The renovated room makes up for it. But you get the feeling of being in the "Shining" Mediterranean edition. It ended up being a unique experience and the cost and location more than make up for it. The wifi was pretty much non existent. Seems like the wifi network was not updated for years and it cannot handle the load of the number of guests. Might as well enjoy your time away from the internet while here.
