Neptun - Łeba - Building
2
9.0 Excellent (538 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in a building dating from 1907, Neptun lies directly in front of the Baltic Sea Coast. It offers rooms and apartments with private bathrooms, as well as free Wi-Fi in public areas. Neptun is located in a castle considered one of Łeba’s landmarks. The resort has a beach, and provides guests with beach towels, deck chairs, and windbreaks. Łeba's centre is 1 km away. Rooms at Neptun are done in a style inspired by the Polish Interwar period. Each room has a TV and minibar. Each has a balcony, and some feature a scenic view of the Baltic Sea. Neptun’s restaurant, Salacja, offers traditionally prepared dishes, mostly focusing on Polish, French, and Italian food. It also features seasonal Asian and Caribbean elements. The restaurant also has a special menu for children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was beyond amazing and restaurant staff very welcoming and helpful.
Cons: I stayed in this hotel years ago and loved it. Came back and wasn't too happy with my room. The walls were cracked, some stains on the walls in the bedroom and the bathroom had the most old fashion tiles I've ever seen. The shower head could do with replacing and maybe for traveller from abroad more toiletries would be good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This property does in fact look like a castle; we had a room in one of the towers with balcony, awesome view of the sea and plenty of space. Our room had a private bedroom; so the kids had their own room. Pool was fantastic for young kids with various stages and a view of the sea. Sea was right at the door of the property. Location to the city for dinner(s), etc. is also perfect and a short walk to all the activities. This included breakfast with many options for all. Great stay, would stay again.
Cons: There are no elevators here and many steps to get around this old building. So, if you are handicapped in any way, this would be difficult to get around. You have to conquer many steps just to get to reception. E.g. My husband took a wrong step down the front stairs and twisted his ankle and so, because after that he could not get back to the room (there's no elevator and many more steps), we had to bail from this location. So, that was a bummer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location on the beach, room was very spacious, food was very nice, staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel itself has lots of character.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: location directly at the sea side, sea view from the room
Cons: staff totally unprofessional, untrained, no one cares, food very average (risotto cooked on a ordinary rice and not risotto rice), had to wait very long for the service, no help with carrying the luggage (no lift and many stairs)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Neptun Hotel is exactly what you would expect from such a place. We had an appartment with a beautiful sea view. It will be very difficult to find any place that will beat it in trems of location and the view in the Baltic coast. The restaurant is world-class with really nice staff, the food was very very delicious - a must-try. There is a library, snooker table, sauna, out-door pool (we did not use it as it was in December and it was not working).
Cons: There is nothing to dislike. Before booking check the available facilities to check if they meet your expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is top notch, friendly and helpful staff, very good food and a lovely atmosphere. They have offered to change our room on the second floor for an exceptional apartment on the ground floor and guess what we loved it. The plans are to spend Christmas there.
Cons: Only the weather, it was blowing a full gale so walking on the beach was impossible.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Absolute best location in Leba and a really wonderful breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location right on the beach, spacious room with seaview, pool with plenty deck chairs, excellent breakfast with high qualify fresh produce and hot dishes on order. All in all we had a couple of excellent days!
Cons: The quality of the dinner courses varied (to our taste) Polish dishes were good, we liked Italian/Spanish inspired dishes less but that is of course personal
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful heritage castle with lovely relaxing grounds facing the white sand beach. We loved the private beach and the pool area away from the crowds. Food that was in the price of the room - breakfast and dinner - were excellent, and so was the wine. Best place in the area.
Cons: There were two different people at reception - one lady was outstanding the other was in need of some customer service training. Staff at the restaurant were excellent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel on the beach, old style and well renovated, nice restaurant with fantastic view. Personal is nice and helpful. Great breakfast.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Location
Cons: We have booked the rom with balcony and were given little rom without balcony- poor menagement of the reservations.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Personnel was excellent
Cons: Price is way too high, rooms under the roof are very inconvenient.
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is really close to the beach, it's a nice walk of about 10 minutes. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are big enough and there is a little kitchen. And we really enjoyed the pool.
Cons: The whole furniture is a bit aged, the kitchen equipment should be replaced. The only thing that was really annoying was the fact that there where a lot of smokers on the balconies, even early in the morning.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice staff, conveniently located but quiet, the kids loved the pool. Good breakfast:)

Pros: Good and delicious breakfast, but the coffee is only melting. Good place.
Cons: Very very poor internet. During the whole week the room was not cleaned only the toilet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All was ok
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. 5 minutes walking to beach. Parking on the backside of the house. Breakfast was calm even if it was many guests. Owners very friendly and good atmosphere overall. Definitely recommend this hotel
Cons: The "double" bed that we chose in the booking was just two single beds pushed together, left a big gap in the middle.
6.3 Good
Pros: We choose this property to be close to western side of beach towards national park beaches. And location was very good. 10 mi walk on sidewalk and you were on the beach. Hotel had parking in the back (paid extra). Breakfast was a big production by ladies in kitchen. There was fish, meats, cheeses, fresh bread, always something home baked. The only complaint we had was coffee was made in the big samovar the old fashion way. Room had AC.
Cons: Upon arrival owner/mng greeted us with very few information and send us to room 26. I had to ask which floor and the is no elevator and no offer to help with luggage to 3 floor. When we got everything upstairs we got to our room, which was under eves, so sloping ceilings around the bed. Room had extra bedroom but such sloppy ceilings that we would have to walk bent over. And also blind in the window was just hanging loose ripped from bottom. Beds in from room were 2 twins pushed together but headboards were not designed to join so there was 5 inches gap at the top of bed, while they joined at feet. Sink in bathroom was stopped and I had to ask to clean it. Also WiFi info - I had ask downstairs and was told there is a page with info in room. I went back to room and nowhere to be found page, so back to mng. After getting WiFi password discovered that it doesn’t work on our floor, so only in lobby you could use it. Beds very super firm , like sleeping on bricks. Room was very dusty, everything you touch that had a surface- was not cleaned for weeks. In the middle of Sunday afternoon, when my husband was taking a nap, AC guys showed up to do scheduled service. It took them about 20 min - they were nice and professional but still Sunday walk on guest in room to do service is weird. Next time I will look somewhere else. There are many choice in that area.
7.9 Good
Pros: Extremely pleasant staff: especially the waitress speaking with an Eastern accent (Ukrainian?). Helpful owners who really care. Excellent location: very close to the beach. Delicious breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The room was clean and nice.
Cons: Extremely expensive (as all such accommodation in Leba). The beds would ask for some extra pillows. The breakfast is served too late (from 8.30 o'clock).

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly personnel speaks English and German Clean room, good breakfast, nice garden
Cons: a bit far from the beach
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast is good
Cons: Small rooms , bed is terible
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great breakfast! Recently renovated room and bathroom. Free table soccer in the foyer. Nice garden. Free parking at the railway station across from the hotel (also tourist buses are waiting there, sometimes with the engine running).
Cons: There was definitely not enough space for three persons and their luggage. The power sockets were in fantastic places, only one was located such that we could plug in our cameras and phones; no sockets to be found near the bedlamp and radio which belonged to the room. On the second day the room was not cleaned and beds were not made (a card in the bathroom announced that the rooms were cleaned every third day - but one would expect that daily cleaning would be pretty standard). The maintenance state of the three bicylces we rented from Pensjonat Angela was pretty unsatisfactory, one of the bikes had problems with the three-gear switch; the employee who handed us the bicycles did not tell us a single word about it, and we had to discover it on the way; coming back in the evening, we informed the receptionist about the problem, and got the answer "Yes, I know." Still, we had to pay the full price (the price was the same as the one we saw at the specialized bike rentals).

7.9 Good
Pros: Is also good for young travellers
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I LOVED the breakfasts. The amount and the variety of food was amazing! The chef could not be more helpful, even after the breakfast service was finished she was willing to make new pancakes (which were super delicious ) The grounds are very nice and the staff are always helpful. It was quiet and beds were comfortable. I needed to make some changes in my booking and the staff were extremely understanding and helpful. I could not praise them more. I highly recommend the hotel I hope to have an opportunity to stay there again one day.
Cons: I liked everything.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to beach, family friendly, nice playground for kids.
Cons: Needed to wait until 4pm for check out.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is pretty great, close to the seaside.
Cons: The hotel desperately needs renovation. Breakfasts was a disaster - empty tables, instant coffee, cheapest food. Rooms at the upper floor face the roof of the building nearby where birds nest, and they wake you up at around 4-5 am. No hair dryer in the room! The one given upon request at the front desk was awful. The hotel does not cost its price.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location. Staff was helpful and friendly
Cons: The hotel and restaurant is old and requires renovation. It was build in the 70s/80s and since then not much was done. Rooms do not have air condition which can be a problem if your balcony is facing south. For that money you should be expecting higher standard.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location in a quiet part of town, few steps from the beach. Very good breakfast! Room very oldschool style but comfortable with twin bed, sofa and an armchair.
Cons: Outdated decor. Nothing to sit on on the balcony.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is really locatated near the sea
Cons: None
7.9 Good
Pros: Location is really great, just 200m from the beach. Good rooms and great value for money!
Cons: Restaurant was very noisy, crowded and sometimes also messy in the morning.
7.9 Good
Cons: No air condition in the room, tv didn’t workout often- no signal
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is situated near by the beach and it was one of the most important reasons why we chose this hotel.
Cons: We had a room just under the roof so we had no view and also it was very hot early in the morning. Also it seems that a spa and everything in the hotel is well adapted for the families with kids , but for the romantic stay for couples it is not the best choice.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to beach, good free spa (pool with saunas),
Cons: Old furniture
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, amenities, bar and restaurant open in the evening.
Cons: Stains on the carpet. Toilet seat had missing bits. Breakfast time is very full.
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is quite modern, with spacious rooms, decent quality of internet, rather big swimming pool and perfect location with around 300 meters away from the sea
Cons: Unfortunately, there were quite a lot of disappointing things: 1) As booking genius I should have been allowed at 12, but the room was ready well after 1pm. What's the meaning of giving 2 extra hours if in reality they don't care? 2) To say politely the receptionist was not too responsive 3) The SPA zone simply was not working and the receptionist had no clue when it's going to be opened 4) On Monday (and the whole working week) the pool is working since... 13.00! No comment 5) Definitely one of the worst breakfast I've ever eaten in Polish hotels. Almost no choice is met with poor quality - and the thing I particularly hate - there was more water in the juice than the juice itself Taking into account that the cost of room was completely crazy - I would be really disappointed at stay, however, the town is so nice, that it outweighs the problems with the hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice friendly and helpful personal! Dunes and Leba are very nice places to visit!
Cons: Additional 6,3% amount was deducted from our account during payment by card on hotel. We found out that 0,4% was deducted form Maestro Card, 2,4% from our bank and the remaining 3,6% we have no idea where the money has disappeared. Still under investigation. Leba is very nice place to visit, however based on our experience I advice always to verify the amount to be deducted when paying or withdrawing money by card. When exchanging cash we found the best exchan.rate at local bank (2,4%). At the post office exchange rate was 10 %, when withdrawing money from cash machine incredible 13% rate !!!!!! Watch Out !!!!
6.3 Good
Pros: Definitely, closest to the beach.
Cons: Parking search is nightmare in the high peak of the tourist season. Hotel does have only few parking spots, without reservations. It’s really mood destroyer to arrive at your destination and start running in search of free parking slots, hundreds of meters away. No air condition in the room means open windows in summer to stay reasonably comfortable. However, the hotel is located right by the street and in the night there were plenty of loud and drunk youth passing by. Plus mosquitoes and flies found their way to the room from open windows. Air on would be real improvement for 3* hotel. Not much to do for little guests in case of bad weather.
6.7 Good
Cons: after the reimbursement of accommodation costs, the staff announced that the wellness was out of service
