Friendly stuff. They genuinely care. I think I met the manager. An elegant guy, who took from his time on a Saturday evening to have people from the staff borrow me a black tie compatible shirt. Only stayed for one night. They could easily have said no. Concierge service, outstanding, as was the valet parking and reception as we arrived.
Perfect. Stayed at other 5 star hotels in Lausanne before, nothing compares to this.

Ideally located between town/station and lake. Luxurious historic building and comfortable modern wing. Extensive spa and nice pool area. Staff generally friendly and helpful.
Pillows are way too soft (a point also raised by other guests staying at the hotel). Breakfast is good quality, but expensive. Parking is VERY expensive. The concierge made no mention of charges when handing over a card to enter/exit the car park so this was a nasty surprise upon checking out!

I had emailed in advance regarding my partners birthday. On checkin they surprised us with a free upgrade and took us to a room where balloons and surprise birthday package was setup. The hotel is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in
Car Parking is 30chf/day. The hotel is amazing and as a five star is is obviously expensive. This is the only fault however I cannot compare to any other hotel as we only stayed here!
