Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast had everything imaginable. The pool was clean and well organised. Beautiful terrace bar overlooking the golf course with great food.

The service at the terrace bar could have been faster and the payment of the bill there was a bit disorganised.

The AC in the main room wasn't working properly

The hotel is a bit dated but the location in the middle of the golf course is very pleasant. I recommend opting for meals in the hotel as it is situated on the outskirts of Jerez and car / taxi would be needed to eat out. There are 3 pools (kids - shallow with lots of slides, adults only - relatively small; large - c.20-25m long and great for family fun together). Food is well presented and tasty with good selection of ready made and served dishes.

Everything else was perfect. Food was good. Service was great. Lovely atmosphere. Yes I would go there again.

We had a confirmation that we could checkin between11 and 12. We arrived at 12 and they said that we could check in but we couldnt have our roon since it wasmt ready. There had been a confusion and we didnt get our room till 2. Waste all morning because we couldnt go to the spa early. They gave us drinks on the house

villa was a little dated and felt like it needed a really deep clean although it wasn't dirty if you can understand what I mean. Things like the floor tiles and we had a couple of cockroaches in kitchen and bathroon

Place is infested with mosquitoes, cockroaches and wasps. The open buffet was disappointing

Dead cockroach in the dining area on the last day of my stay at breakfast. & no water in the room for over an hour first thing in the morning.

The whole hotel and golf facilities were very well staffed with people with pleasant attitudes. Even the cleaners were so cheerful.The place was relaxing with high quality service. The breakfast was extensive and excellent. We are a retired couple and we have stayed at quite a few golf hotels and Montecastillo is the best we have experienced. The golf course is challenging but playable for any decent player. A great two week holiday!

Lovely hotel, lovely staff couldn’t be more helpful, beautiful pool area, excellent food, unbelievable breakfast buffet, can’t emphasize how great the staff were! Will be back!

All other guests seemed to be on inclusive packages (including golf) poor me wasn’t. Golf relatively expensive, hire clubs don’t include a few tees and balls which is the norm in my experience

rooms were good size, very clean, great views over the golf course and the bed was very comfortable. Food was very good with good selection from the buffet. Free golf after 12:00 was a great extra.

To use the swimming pool we needed to pay extra. We wouldn't have minded a few euros but 30 euros for single use per day was a bit over the top.

Super comfy bed, loved the buffet dinner , excellent value as was the free golf! slightly disappointing about paying 15 euros each to use pool etc.

Fabulous location and view over golf course. Comfortable rooms. Helpful staff. Tennis and indoor swimming if outdoor pools not all open. Very relaxed feel.

Everything is fantastic here, ambience, food, golf, pools, gym. We were even invited to a free mojito and dj live on site.

Just the kettle in the bedroom the cord would not reach any of the plugs. In order to plug the kettle in we had to place the kettle on the top of three books. This could be quite dangerous
