We stayed in the Efta suite! The views from the suite and pool were incredible. The food and wine was delicious and made even better by being able to have a private dinner in the comfort of our suite. The staff made you feel like family and were so accommodating. The hotel isn’t overlooked, unlike other resorts in Santorini. It’s your own slice of heaven!

The property is stunning - it’s away from the tourist crowds so you feel like you’re in your own little Santorini but close enough to restaurants and a quick trip to town. The staff made you feel welcome and at home - they were great! We had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.

Where to begin?!? As we were leaving Mykonos, I received a call from Fiorela and said that I didn't respond to her emails. She wanted to know if she needs to arrange a pick up from airport or the port. She arranged it for me and it was great. I decided to look for her email and found it in my spam list. In the email, they ask your arrival info, if transportation is needed, what kind of pillows you prefer (since I didn't respond, they went ahead and gave us pillows for head and neck support and one that is fluffy - which was perfect to begin with), what room temperature you prefer, if you would like a bottle of champagne or a nice flower arrangement (take note honeymooners). I immediately responded with our choices and Fiorela responded back. I knew right away that I will like this place. We arrived finally to The Vasilicos and we were blown away by the views. We stayed at the Vasilicos suites (they only have 7 suites so consider yourself lucky if you are able to book one here!. We have the perfect view of the Caldera, we have the right sized plunge pool and just down below us is the common swimming pool which is also beautiful and have the view of the Caldera. We arrived around 8pm (I wish we took the earlier boat from Mykonos) but Fiorela arranged for us to have dinner at our private terrace. The food that Chef Yannis prepared is perfect (please be sure to try the octopus!) Breakfast is served at a time that we chose - pretty much you can get whatever you want as long as the kitchen has it (that's what Adi always said to me as he asked what kind of coffee, how the eggs are made, if we want more cheese, fruits, bread, French toast, etc. Every morning, there will be a special dish that the kitchen prepares. I could have just stayed in the hotel the whole time we were there. Thank you to the V team - from Fiorela, to Adi, Gina and Cyrill, Pavlos, Yannis, Artemis, Anthony (sorry if I missed anyone)! You made my 50TH birthday super special!

The only thing that would have been better is if we stayed a couple more days. The hotel is in Imerovigli, close to Fira and Oia. No need to go to super crowded Oia for the sunset views! We also did the 5 course wine pairing dinner and it was marvelous! Artemis picked the perfect wine for all the food they served. I'm supposed to write here what I didn't like but there is really none. They even surprised me the morning of my birthday with a cake and balloons and birthday song from the whole staff. Thanks so much! This hotel is special and so are the people that works there. We were very sad when we left.
