Pros: Found I had reserved the car at a different location than the airport in Jackson, MS. Clerk could not transfer the reservation to the airport location. I would have had to take a cab to the other rental location. I had to call and cancel the reservation and make a new reservation at the airport. Originally I had booked online through Kayak.
When I got to the garage to pick up my car, they were out of economic cars. They upgraded me to a Ford Expedition. It was a tank for one person. The weather was bad so it worked out.

Pros: The vehicle was nice
Cons: They didn't have the car ready, there was personal belongings of the previous driver still in the car. Also, the car needed some maintenance(an alignment). I generally don't have any problems with Enterprise!

Pros: The clerk was friendly and cheerful.
Cons: This was my very first time renting a car ever. I was very nervous about it, but thought it was my best option. So, I reserved the car online and called the Jackson Airport Enterprise to confirm that I would pickup and drop off at the airport. After being assured that was right, I tried to relax; but when I got to Jackson to pick up my rental, I was told I would have to pay for a taxi to go pickup my car. This would cost $30 to pick up and $30 to get back to airport after drop off. Then I couldn't count on making my flight. My other option was to pay an additional $70 to get a car at the airport. I agreed to the $70 since now I'm feeling stranded. Then the clerk wouldn't let me pay ahead with my debit and place a deposit on my credit card. He insisted I pay at pick up. When I arrived to return the car, Enterprise wasn't even open. My flight left at 6 a.m. so I had to accept that they would charge my credit card. I don't like credit and really prefer to pay as I go. Now, I'm left watching for the charge to show up on my statement to make sure they don't overcharge me. The stress continues...

Customer service was above average
Pros: Carson and Donovan were really good and professional
Cons: The car wasn't as clean as it should have been. And back left tire lost air pressure overnight. However, Carson gave me consideration for the inconvenience.
Pros: The pickup location called me ahead of time to remind me of holiday hours so that I didn't miss my reservation. The rental clerk was prepared for my arrival. She successfully corrected an error on my bill and was friendly and professional. The drop off location at the airport was quick and the employee was able to help me with directions to my gate.
Cons: They were unable to accommodate a drop off on a holiday, so I had to return the car earlier than I would have liked in order to avoid being billed for two extra days. Rental locations need a procedure for accepting turn-ins outside of normal business hours

Rental office ran out of cars, sent me to a airpor
Cons: Hertz called me the day of the rental and told me they didn't have any cars at their office. Directed me to their airport location. I was assured by the office that the reservation would transfer over. I called the hotline to confirm. Lady said it was now $180 instead of $120. Then she told me she would fix it. Got to the airport and it was $180. They refused to change it. Terrible service.

Cons: Car was so low end did not have side mirror adjustment inside car. had to stop along highway to manually try to set the mirrors. not so bad on the driver side, but a real p[ain and not very safe on the passender side (without a passenger to help.
