Pros: NothingCons: They literally didn't have any cars available. Multiple people there had reservations but we were all told that they didn't have any cars and maybe someone would bring back a car, in which case we could get one. Had to cancel the reservation and get one from Enterprise instead, almost missed a wedding.

Cons: Pick up and drop off very inconvenient, plus paid rental in advance, when I turned in car there was an extra 100. charge. Make sure you fully read the small print. I'm a hertz gold member and wa as really suprised hertz did this. Never seen it before. I will def look into other companies in future.

Pros: The staff at the location we're great! I had an issue and some questions and corporate was horrible. Rude, short with answers and customer service was terrible. Excellent clean large vehicle- quick pick up and drop off!Pros: Easy airport access, fast check out with prepaid rental agreement. Fast check in when car was returned, both people were friendly and helpful.Cons: Didn't know about all the toll roads in Orange County, wasn't sure how to pay them without toll booths anywhere- had to call Alamo and ask about them as we had already followed our GPS on the phones and used them multiple times that first day- would have preferred to know about them before hand.

"I'll be back"Pros: When I dropped off the car, I told the attendant, "I'll be back. I like you guys", and she laughed out loud. Got exactly the car I wanted, there were no mechanical or other issues, it went very smoothly.Cons: There was some refuse in the car that the people who cleaned it from the previous renters, but it did not spoil the experience.

Kayak vs Alamo misalignment; huge truck vs low endPros: The manager found us a vehicle to take so we were able to leave the airport.Cons: We requested a standard sedan; we were told that even though we booked it before we arrived, none were available. We had to take the only feasible vehicle: a huge Ram pickup truck with no trunk or covered storage. We had to wait for a truck to be found and brought up. Thankfully it was not raining on our luggage in the truck bed. We were then told we could exchange the vehicle the next day for the car we wanted, at Santa Ana.

Pros: Check in and checkout were so easy. I was there for less than 5 min. They were friendly and courteous. The car was clean and I really enjoyed driving it (Nissan Altima). I would rent with Alamo again because of this experience.

Lying EmployeePros: The place was easy and convenient to find.Cons: The agent who checked me in told me that there weren't any cars in the cheap range left, and tried to upgrade me to the next tiered car for an extra $5 a day. A few minutes later, we find out that she was lying to my face, and I ended up renting the same Kia Rio that I reserved. Gas tank was not full. Interior was stained and gross.

Pros: The car was clean and comfortable.Cons: The service could not have been worse. We waited over an hour before we had someone finally pick up the phone and send an airport van. On our return flight, we turned our car in at the appointed 4:00 time to find a note on the desk that said “please place the keys in the Dropbox. We had expected to get a ride to the airport, but that was not to be. We walked 20 minutes or so to the airport and barely made our flight. The communication with your renters needs some work.

Pros: Nothing. Very unprofessional.Cons: Sat and waited for an hour at the airport and the shuttle never showed up. Called 3 times, never answered. Took a $10 Uber to the office, and two young unprofessional girls were there. “I was at lunch”. After we took the car and got to the hotel, they call us and told us they left keys in our car so they came and met us and switched us cars. What a joke. The replacement car was a crappy, smoke smelling Kia Soul, nothing like the commercial with the hamsters. I had never seen a rental car in such bad condition.

Even then I would not recommend renting from here.Cons: The staff is untrained, unprofessional and many give you the attitude that they will probably steal your information. The prove of having insurance. In mist car rental agencies you just tell them the name is the insurance here you have to have a policy # and fill it out. Or they fir e you to buy insurance! Wtf!!! I’m getting the impression they are hiring the bottom feeders of tre employees with fishy background. All care more in their cell phone than try to help you to rent and leave the facility. I had a reservation d as Nd had to rebook at the car agency nearby. What a completely ware of time.
