The hotel is well located if you want to be close to the central station which was our case. It was ok for a 1 night stay. The breakfast staff was very helpful and friendly.
The facilities are ok but I would have expected more from a 5 star hotel (e.g. the room was a bit dusty, breakfast variety was a bit limited and the front desk staff was not so friendly). The neighborhood was quite unfriendly being close to the central station.

This hotel is meant to be 5 stars? Facilities maybe but there was no service at the hotel. Massive crowds sitting in the lobby. Long lines for check in. Waited over an hour for tooth paste to be delivered to room including 3 calls to house keeping. Difficult to get through to in-room dining. No one to help with luggage on the way in or out of the hotel. With that said, the hotel has low ceilings but the decor is incredibly charming and you really feel like you are staying at a hotel in Amsterdam and not a big chain hotel.
