Cons:Breakfast was busy no table ready was asked to follow maitre d around then he left us standing in the middle of the restraint and went and served other customers didn't explain what he was doing. Had to guess that a table nearby was being cleared for us poor communication staff didn't seem interested

Pros:cleaning services outstanding, staff at the reception, rooms have been renovated, central location, easy ride by bus to the city center, peaceful and quite, nearby grocery stores, quick ride by taxi to Paddington
Cons:This was my fifth time staying at Danubius over a four year period. My impression is that the management has been increasingly paying attention to customer satisfaction. and it has worked out to a great extent. I am not sure whether the smaller older rooms at the back facing the ragby court have been renovated though, but the ones facing Regents and the train rails are much better now. I was disappointed though by the room service. The food quality is very low, but I guess they are not interested in delivering this. Also, this is something totally subjective. However, what I experienced from the staff (she was a blonde east-European young lady) was ridiculous: let's say that your food cost 13 pounds and you give 15 pounds waiting for 2 pounds back... well forget it! I think she implicitly believes she needs a 2 pounds tip and since the amount is so small I didn't follow up. Then, the second time I gave 20 pounds waiting 7 back, and I had to call the reception after 30 min to ask for the change. They apologized and said that she will give me back the whole amount, and if I want I can leave a tip. Well not really, she kept again a tip without asking. I have to say that this is not the case for all the other staff working for room service. Tip: make sure you leave an account open when you check in at the reception so that you can avoid all this.
