Not much, the manager in San Marcos, CA Las Posas branch is a disgrace. She has the customer service skills of a Bad Lawyer. After spending vlose to $1,000 in last 30 days she decided she didn’t like me because I reminded her of her ex husband who left her for another man.Cons:

Having my rental car ready and not over booking. I had a reservation for my rental and we had to wait over an hour along with 15 people ahead of me for them to bring other rentals from another location. Delayed my trip and I had a sick child with me. Horrible experience. I will never rent from that location again. Didn’t even try to compensate for the inconvenience they caused all the customers!!6.0 Okay

We had contact with 3 different Enterprise car rental locations. The location we booked through was closed when we went to pick up the car. Our pick up time was 12 pm and the location closed at noon. It was in the fine print but we should not have been able make the reservation. The airport enterprise was helpful but could not assist. They suggested we call the location and request the same deal starting Monday at 9 am when they opened. The dealership refused to honor the agreement. We then booked directly with a 3rd enterprise who were very good.Budget

Cons:
Upon completion of my reservation with kayak, it gave me a complete price w/ taxes and fees included. Upon arrival to puck up rental they charged me an additional $7 sighting only the base price is guaranteed and that additional fees could be charged that kayak was unaware of and i would need to take it up with kayak.com. If this is true, i could not find any disclaimer on kayak website to the fact. If its says s total with taxes and fees then that should be the price with no suprise charges upon arrival.8.4 Very Good

Cons:
Was 5 min late for the drop off and the location closed I had to drive 15 miles out of my way to drop off at the airport and was charged for another day, I was never told that the location closed at 1:00 or that if I was late I had the option of dropping off at another location. I understand I was late and paying the fee was not what upsets me when I call about where to drop off the car (twice) the operators could not have cared less, rude and unhelpful. I will take my business elsewhere even if that means paying a little extra.5.2 Fair

I was upsold on primary insurance that was offered at the counter. I initially declined, citing that my Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card covers it. Then the rep very assertively said credit cards do not cover primary, they only cover secondary. So I went with his claim, assuming he's more knowledgeable. Turns out my Chase card does include *primary* insurance so I regret getting redundant insurance. I'm not happy about that.6.8 Okay

We assumed Avis rental car was at San Diego airport. We arrived at 2pm. We were informed at the Avis airport location that we rented from another location Balboa which was 30 minutes away and closed at 3pm. Avis personnel would not wait for us at Balboa. We rented from airport location at an additional cost ($60) that we did not expect. We felt Avis should mAke it clearer at booking that it is not at airport.8.4 Very Good
