Pros:The plane departed and landed on time. Service was no frills - food and beverages were offered for purchase, but he flight was only 50 minutes or so. Value for money-wise, the flight was excellent.

Cons:I booked the premium ticket. It looks like except from the seat, there is really not much advantage to it. You are boarding same as everyone else. I booked a round trip. The first flight was delayed 45'. The second flight was delayed for more than 2 hours. The premium flight got insurance in it, in which there is on time guarantee for any flight delayed for more than 2 hours, but the insurance required me to get a letter from AirAsia proving that the flight was late for more than 2 hours and the reason why it was late. I have no idea how I could even get a letter like that, since there is not much customer service anyway.

Pros:Crews are quite friendly
Cons:Certain Crew is unable to do simple math calculation even though she is using calculator. I was purchasing food and gave Malaysian Ringgit, little that I know, the change is given in Rupiah and the amount was wrong, it was short of 55,000. Luckily I did a little math calculation my own, and find that she was over-charging too much for the food. Realizing that particular crew can't calculate, I offer to pay using Rupiah, she rejected it and gave me back the proper change. The exchange rate on board is absurd!!! I suggest use local currency if anyone would do onboard purchasing on AirAsia.

Liked the food. It’s was delicious! The cleanliness was average.. we saw dried liquid stains on the seat head in front. The flight was delayed. My experience with other airlines is that the flight crew usually announces an apology for the delay . Maybe air Asia doesn’t deem it necessary.. In summary the only positive that stood out was the food.
