Have plenty of time at pick up and drop off to check your car and don't leave without checking any scratch ( more than 1 cm ) or nicks in the car Same thing on return . Get your car check by an employee and don't just drop the keys . The driving is very tight and it's very easy to have your car damaged even after you left. Remember until an employee as check the car and close the contract any damaged is yours ! Dropping the keys is not the end of your trip !!

We switched our drop off after the terror attempt at another train station. This location (because of the drop off time) made it a lot harder to get the the airport. And there was little in the way of security. We ended up taking a taxi instead of the train. Not Avis fault at all. Just a complication.

Sixt staff was difficult and unhelpful at pickup. Sixt in person staff and online staff both are extremely difficult to deal with and refuse to respect their stated cancellation policy.

I had to cancel but the cancelation process did not work smoothly. There was no link to cancel and nobody picked up at the number provided by Kayak. A cancellation by email did not work either. In the end I had to search through Google for a page to cancel.
