Train

SNCF is the most popular train carrier serving Chamonix, followed by Trenitalia. The train journey from Chamonix to Marseille takes 1h 32m and costs around €10 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Chessy, expect to pay about €10 for a 2h 02m trip. Located 0.7 miles from the city centre, Chamonix Les Moussoux is the busiest station in Chamonix. Another popular train station is Chamonix Aiguille du Midi, located 0.3 miles from the centre.
